A slewing bearing includes first and second rings and rolling elements therebetween. The first ring has a shoulder, and a cap is fixed to the first ring that, with the shoulder, defines a radially outwardly facing circumferential groove. A sealing contact member is fixed to a surface of the second ring. A first seal is mounted in the groove, and a sealing member is mounted on the cap. The first seal and the sealing member each include a sealing lip in sliding frictional contact with the sealing contact member.

Propulsion Unit

A propulsion unit includes a housing supported on a vessel. A propeller shaft extends in the housing. The propeller shaft is rotatably supported with a first bearing and a second bearing. A propeller is attached to at least one end of the propeller shaft. The first bearing includes a first radial bearing and a first thrust bearing. The first radial bearing is a sliding bearing positioned axially inside the first thrust bearing. The first bearing is positioned at the first end of the housing and the second bearing being positioned at the second end of the housing or vice a versa.

RING FOR A DRIVE UNIT BEARING OF A MARINE VEHICLE INCLUDING A SEGMENTED ACTIVE PART

A ring for shaft bearing of a marine vehicle drive unit has an annular body and a cylindrical active part intended to provide a sliding contact function with another ring at the bearing level. The cylindrical part is segmented into several cylindrical surfaces, each cylindrical surface being attached in a removable manner to the annular body.

OUTBOARD MOTOR

An outboard motor includes an oil passage that through which an oil flows from the shift chamber to a gear chamber. A circular recessed portion is formed on an upper surface of the gear chamber. A rectangular recessed portion communicating with the circular recessed portion is formed on a portion of the upper surface adjacent to the circular recessed portion. The rectangular recessed portion includes a front surface facing a side surface of the circular recessed portion, a left surface located on a reverse side of a rotation direction of the drive gear with respect to the front surface, and a right surface located on a side of the rotation direction with respect to the front surface. An outlet of the oil passage is arranged on the front surface at a position closer to the left surface than to the right surface.

Rolling Bearing
20210156422 · 2021-05-27 ·

An open-centered large rolling bearing having two concentric bearing rings, which are supported against one another in the axial direction of the rolling bearing by means of at least two axial bearings, which are arranged on opposite end faces of a bearing ring. In the radial direction, the bearing rings are supported against one another by at least three radial bearings, which are arranged on inner and outer circumferential sides of a bearing ring.

A slewing bearing including a first ring, a second ring, the first and second rings being in relative rotation around a rotation axis, at least one row of rolling elements arranged between the rings, and at least two seals having each an annular heel mounted on a cylindrical frontal surface of first ring, and an oblique sealing lip in sliding frictional contact with part of the second ring. The slewing bearing further includes a guiding ring axially arranged between the two seals. The guiding ring provides a flange that prevents the reversion of one sealing lip, and an annular axial collar that radially blocks the annular heel of the other seal in a radial outwards direction.

A slewing bearing providing a first ring, a second ring, the first and second rings being in relative rotation around a rotation axis, and at least one row of rolling elements arranged between the rings. The slewing bearing is further provided with a sealing device including at least one seal having an annular heel fixed to the first ring, and a sealing lip in sliding frictional contact with the second ring, and a deflector mounted to a lateral surface of second ring and having a deflecting part that at least partially radially surrounds the sealing lip.

Outboard motor and damper for propeller unit

In an outboard motor, a damper includes a bushing fixed to a periphery of a propeller shaft. The damper includes a second pressing surface that presses a first pressing surface of an inner surface of a cylinder in a circumferential direction, an elastic member disposed around a portion of the bushing different from the second pressing surface of the bushing, and a reinforcer disposed between the first pressing surface and the second pressing surface.

ELECTRIC STABILISERS

Provided is an electric stabiliser for stabilising a floating structure that includes a track for guiding a mover as a moving stabiliser mass. A direct current (DC) linear motor includes a planar stator that extends along the track and the mover that is adapted to move forwards and backwards along the track as the stabiliser mass. The planar stator includes a polyphase stator winding with winding coils connected. The mover includes permanent motor magnets facing the polyphase stator winding that define mover poles of alternating polarity along the track direction. Two active magnetic bearings is positioned between the track and a main body of the mover for selectively levitating the mover. In use, the active magnetic bearings levitate the mover above the track and the DC linear motor is controlled to move the mover backwards and forwards along the track to dampen a rolling/pitching movement of the floating structure.
