Screw conveyor with lower thrust bearing
A screw conveyor is provided for lifting a sludge from a collection point. The conveyor includes a lower bearing assembly having a post with a thrust bearing attached to the top, which can be inserted in a socket in the shaft component of the screw. The base of the post is attached to a plate, and the plate can be bolted to the intake end of the tube component of the conveyor. The inner bearing assembly and the intake end of the shaft of the screw are contained within the interior of the tube, such that a seal between the shaft and the plate, which serves as an end cap of the tube, is not required. In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the relative positions of the post and socket can be reversed, with the socket attached to the plate to the intake end of the tube, and the post attached to the shaft component of the screw.
Carriage lift assembly for storage handling and article retrieval
The present disclosure relates to a carriage lift assembly including a mast member, a top and bottom bearing assembly, one or more belt members, one or more belt tensioner assemblies, and one or more carriage assemblies. Each belt tensioner assembly defines a first clamping block and a second clamping block for securing a first and a second end, respectively, of a belt member to provide initial tension, and a pair of bolt members adjusted to move a slidable plate member upon which the second block is coupled to provide final tension. Each carriage assembly is removably attached to a corresponding belt tensioner assembly, and defines a center plate and two side plates. Each side plate defines at least a removable set of guiding wheels and a first set of guiding members.
Micro-volume dispense pump systems and methods
Provided is a feed screw assembly for a fluid dispense pump, comprising a feed screw; a feed screw shaft extending from the feed screw; a spanner nut about the feed screw shaft; a bearing assembly about the feed screw shaft between the spanner nut and the feed screw The bearing assembly includes an outer ring that directly abuts the spanner nut; and an inner ring that rotates inside and relative to the outer ring, wherein the inner ring is coupled to the feed screw shaft for rotating the feed screw, and wherein the inner ring is separated from the spanner nut by a gap.
Bearing assembly for track and mover system
The present disclosure describes bearing assemblies for a mover of a linear motor system. The bearing assemblies may include a plurality of bearings, a housing that retains the bearings, a plurality of springs biasing at least one of the plurality of bearings towards a track of the linear motor system, and at least one dampening element dampening movement of one or more of the plurality of springs.
Roller chain
A roller chain includes an inner link and an outer link. A bush is projected out of an outer side surface of an inner plate by a predetermined amount and an end surface of a bush being projected is brought into contact with an inner side surface of the outer plate to form a predetermined gap between the outer side surface of the inner plate and the inner side surface of the outer plate. The predetermined gap is within a range of 7 to 18[%] of the distance between the inner side surfaces of the pair of outer plates.
SPLIT PLUMMER BLOCK BEARING HOUSING
A split plummer block bearing housing for a rotatable shaft includes a detachable housing cap, which includes at least one housing grease channel, and at least one seal assembly. The seal assembly includes a stationary part, which has a seal grease channel and is mounted on the housing, and a rotating part that is configured to be mounted on the shaft. The stationary part and the rotating part are configured to cooperate with each other as a labyrinth and/or contacting seal, and the housing grease channel and the seal grease channel connect and form an extension of each other.
UNIVERSAL RAIL FOR MOBILE RACKING
A rail for mobile racking has a continuous groove formed in ae first surface. A second surface is opposite the first surface is substantially flat on a top surface. The width of the universal rail between the first surface and the second surface is of reduced dimension from the first surface and the second surface. The rail may be mounted with the first surface positioned above the second surface when a groove within the elongated universal rail is to be provided for casters having a tongue on a circumference of the caster. The elongated universal rail may be mounted within a floor with the second surface positioned above the first surface, providing a substantially flat surface as a rolling surface for casters not having a tongue formed therein. Reduced dimensions of the sides relative to the first and second surfaces receive concrete therein to hold the rail in place.
Bearing housing and bearing protection for conveyor pulley
A bearing housing with improved protective element and non-separable conveyor pulley that reduces metal use, labor, assembly and maintenance costs. The conveyor pulley includes a tubular housing, an axle, two bearing housings with an integrated bearing protection and two bearings. Bearing protector includes air permeable element (e.g., wool, felt) that is configured to allow passage of air while preventing dust and other particulars from entering the bearing thereby improving bearing operation and longevity. The proposed configuration provides protection for pulley bearings from dust and abrasive particles. The bearing housing assembly is manufactured using polymer composite materials by injection molding with embedded parts. The bearing housing includes a slanted bevel proximate outer side of the housing facet to facilitate installation into the pulley housing. The conveyor pulley housing tube is form-pressed around the slanted face to form non-separable conveyor pulley.
KINEMATIC IDLER ROLLER
An idler roller having a fixed shaft with at least one spherical bearing and a second bearing which may, but need not be, a spherical bearing. In some embodiments, the second bearing is slidably-mounted on a central shaft. A shell is mounted between these bearings. Any changes in dimensions resulting from changes in temperature may them be accommodated by sliding movement of the second bearing, sparing the shell from distortion by bending or buckling. In other exemplary embodiments, the spherical bearing includes a first housing element fixedly-mounted on a central shaft and a complementary first free element disposed against the first housing element. A second bearing element is mounted on the central shaft, and a shell is attached to the first free element and rotatably-mounted to a second bearing element with a biasing element mounted on the central shaft urging a second free element away from the first free element.
Link chain, in particular bush chain
A link chain, in particular bush chain, comprising an inner link plate with a bush, an outer link plate with a pin, wherein the pin and bush form a chain joint, wherein a sealing arrangement is provided for sealing the chain joint, wherein the sealing arrangement is arranged between the inner link plate and the outer link plate, and wherein the sealing arrangement comprises a seal and a seal-accommodating space, characterized in that in that the seal-accommodating space is formed from a thrust washer and an annular cutout, in particular in the outer link plate, wherein a ring, which is designed in the form of a metal ring, is arranged in the seal-accommodating space, or in that the seal-accommodating space is formed from a thrust washer and an accommodating washer.
