Rotor carrier and locking diaphragm spring
A hybrid drive module, comprising an annular diaphragm spring having an inner surface and one or more fingers protruding radially inward from the inner surface and a carrier hub concentric with the diaphragm spring and connected to a rotor of an electric motor and a cover of a torque converter, the carrier hub having an outer surface with one or more retention grooves configured to interlock with the one or more fingers of the diaphragm spring to inhibit axial movement of the diaphragm spring relative to the carrier hub.
SELF CENTRING SLEEVE FOR A DEVICE WITH CLUTCH RELEASE/ENGAGEMENT THRUST BEARING, DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH SUCH A SLEEVE, AND MOTOR VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH SUCH A DEVICE
A sleeve for a clutch release/engagement thrust bearing device. The sleeve provides a body with a first axial bearing surface configured to work together with a translationally mobile control member, a second axial bearing surface configured to interact with a non-rotating ring of a bearing, and a central bore around a central axis configured to accept a cylindrical guide. The central bore of the sleeve provides a first series of guide portions with cylindrical surfaces, a second series of guide portions with cylindrical surfaces, which are axially at the opposite end to the first series. The guide portions of the first series are offset with respect to the guide portions of the second series in the circumferential direction, and an intermediate bore portion that is recessed with respect to the guide portions. The intermediate bore portion extending axially between the first and second series of the guide portions.
HYBRID DRIVING MODULE
A hybrid driving module includes a housing and an axial movement prevention part configured to restrict forward and rearward movements of a rotor hub relative to the housing. The axial movement prevention part provided in a bearing interposed between the housing and the rotor hub. The bearing includes a first race configured to adjoin a first peripheral surface, a second race configured to adjoin a second peripheral surface, and rolling elements interposed between the first race and the second race. The axial movement prevention part includes a bearing groove provided in a surface of the first race, a circumferential surface groove provided in a first circumferential surface, and a clearance prevention ring inserted across the circumferential surface groove and the bearing groove. A height of the clearance prevention ring is equal to or smaller than a depth of the circumferential surface groove.
SPLIT RACE FOR WEDGE CLUTCH BEARING ASSEMBLY
An outer ring assembly adapted for a one way clutch bearing assembly is provided. The outer ring assembly includes two separately formed rings. A first outer ring includes a groove adapted to receive a plurality of locking wedges, and a second outer ring includes an outer race adapted to support a plurality of rolling elements. The outer ring assembly is installed with a one way clutch bearing assembly including an inner ring defining both an inner race adapted to support rolling elements, and a plurality of ramps axially spaced from the inner race.
LAMINATED MECHANICAL COMPONENTS
Methods and apparatus for manufacturing a circular laminated component are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method comprises stamping an inlet stock of material to form a line of arc segments, the line of arc segments having: a plurality of notches along a first edge; a first longitudinal end; and a second longitudinal end opposite the first longitudinal end; wrapping the line of arc segments to form a circular segment having the first edge along an inner-circumferential diameter of the circular segment; joining the first longitudinal end to the second longitudinal end to form a circular laminate layer; and stacking a plurality of circular laminate layers to form a laminate disc.
VEHICLE INPUT SHAFTS
Vehicle input shafts are disclosed. The vehicle input shafts include a bearing boss, a spline portion, a cylindrical shaft body portion and a drive end. The spline portion includes spline teeth and spline grooves that do not exit directly onto the shaft body. Instead, the spline grooves include blend out fillets that interrupt the spline grooves by providing additional material near the shaft body. The bearing boss includes an increased diameter at a central point along its axial length and decreased diameters at its first and second boss ends.
Release bearing
A release bearing in which a permanently high sealing effect is provided, with at the same time a space saving arrangement of the sealing devices.
Cooling system for clutch mechanism
A clutch mechanism designed to be installed between an engine and a motor vehicle transmission, wherein the clutch mechanism includes at least one cooling duct arranged to make a cooling fluid circulate toward the clutch, wherein each cooling duct includes an axially extending part and at least one radially extending part, the axially extending part of each cooling duct is situated radially between a transmission shaft and an interior face of the clutch support, and at least one radially extending part of each cooling duct is situated axially between the support bearing and the output hub.
CLUTCH THRUST BEARING DEVICE INCLUDING A BALL BEARING, AND DRIVELINE SYSTEM INCLUDING SUCH A DEVICE
A clutch thrust bearing device having a ball bearing with a fixed inner ring, a rotatable outer ring, and at least one series of balls located in a raceway chamber disposed between the rings. The device also provides a piston having a substantially radial portion, the fixed inner ring being in axial abutment against the substantially radial portion. The piston further provides an axial portion arranged in a bore of the fixed inner ring of the ball bearing, the axial portion being provided with at least one outwards radial projection that extends between the fixed inner ring and the rotatable outer ring.
BALL BEARING, CLUTCH THRUST BEARING DEVICE INCLUDING SUCH A BEARING, AND DRIVELINE SYSTEM INCLUDING SUCH A DEVICE
A ball bearing and to a clutch thrust bearing device including such a bearing. The invention also relates to a driveline system including such a device, the system being provided to an all-wheel drive driveline system of a motor vehicle. The ball bearing comprises a fixed inner ring able to bear against an axially movable piston, a rotatable outer ring, and one series of balls between the rings. The rotatable outer ring further comprises a shield provided with a folded flange able to bear against a resilient biasing member.
