Greasable idler pulley and related kit and method

Greasable idler pulleys and related kits and methods are disclosed. The greasable idler pulley has a rotating body, a bearing, to enable the rotating body to rotate with respect to a shaft, and grease fitting defined through the rotating body. The rotating body may have a bearing seal cap having an orifice and a rotator. The grease fitting may be in fluid communication with the bearing through the orifice in the bearing seal cap. Kits are also contemplated, such as a kit for retrofitting a non-regreasable idler pulley including a rotator to a regreasable idler pulley. Methods may include methods of producing a regreasable idler pulley from a non-regreasable idler pulley.

Pulley device, in particular for tensioning idler or runner roller

A pulley device configured to support a belt of a chain tensioning idler or runner roller includes a bearing having a rotatable outer ring and a coaxial fixed inner ring and a pulley having at least one C-shaped pulley part that has an inner portion with an inner surface mounted on an outer cylindrical surface of the bearing outer ring, an outer cylindrical portion having an outer cylindrical surface configured to contact the belt or the chain, and a radial intermediate portion between axial outer ends of the inner and outer cylindrical portions and an axial outer end of the outer cylindrical portion, wherein the intermediate portion in cross section has a shape of an arc circle.

A pulley assembly for belt tensioners having a bearing unit provided with a rotating outer ring and made of metal, an outer wheel body overmoulded onto the outer ring to rotate with the outer ring and interact with a belt, a gripping surface at the interface between the outer wheel body and the outer ring to prevent circumferential slipping between the outer wheel body and the outer ring; and an axial retainer integral with the outer ring and having two lateral edge members located axially on opposite sides of the gripping surface to engage the outer wheel body and prevent axial movement of the outer wheel body relative to the outer ring.

Pulley device for a tensioner roller or winding roller

A pulley device for a tensioner roller or winding roller of a transmission element, having a fixed inner element, a rotating outer element that is mounted to rotate coaxially about the fixed inner element, and an annular protective flange having a substantially radial portion bearing against a front surface of the fixed inner element. The flange includes an annular folded portion extending substantially axially from an outer edge of the flange and passing radially into the immediate vicinity of an axially protruding annular portion of the rotating outer element to form a narrow passage.

Pulley device for a tensioner roller or winding roller

A pulley device for a tensioner roller or winding roller of a transmission element, having a fixed inner element configured to receive a screw, a rotating outer element that is mounted to rotate coaxially about the fixed inner element and is intended to cooperate with the transmission element, and an annular protective flange bearing against a lateral surface of the fixed inner element. The fixed inner element provides a sleeve axially protruding from the lateral surface. The flange provides an inner axial portion mounted securely on an outer surface of the sleeve.

Pulley device, in particular for tensioning idler or runner roller

A pulley device for supporting a belt of a chain tensioning idler or a runner roller includes a bearing having an outer ring mounted for rotation relative to a coaxial inner ring and first and second C-shaped pulley parts mounted on the radially outer surface of the outer ring with their openings facing each other. The radially outer portion of the first and/or second pulley part includes at least one radial through opening, and a first portion of at least one of the pulley parts radially inward of the through opening is deformable from a first configuration in which the first pulley part is axially movable relative to the outer ring to a second configuration in which the first pulley part forms an interference fit with the outer ring or with the second pulley part. Also a method of connecting the pulley parts to the outer ring.

Described is a generator for an engine-driven power system. The generator having a generator shaft, a sleeve coupler, a first pulley, and a second pulley. The generator shaft, which is shaped at an end to define a first tapered surface, rotates a rotor relative to a stator. The sleeve coupler is shaped to define a bore with a second tapered surface. The bore receives the end of the generator shaft. The first pulley has a center hole to receive the sleeve coupler. The second pulley shares an axis of rotation with the first pulley and transfers a rotational force to the generator shaft and to the sleeve coupler.
