TRANSMISSION-EQUIPPED MOTOR
In a transmission-equipped motor, a spline portion is formed at an end portion of a drive shaft of a transmission, and a spline hole with which the spline portion is engaged is formed on an end surface of a motor shaft of a hydraulic motor. A snap ring which contacts an end surface of the motor shaft having the spline hole is provided on an outer periphery of the drive shaft having the spline portion so that the snap ring positions the motor shaft and the drive shaft.

ATTACHMENT FOR AN ORAL CARE DEVICE HANDLE
An oral care device attachment for being coupled to an oral care device handle having an essentially cylindrical drive shaft coupling end. The attachment has an outer attachment tube having a coupling end for being detachably secured at a housing of the device handle. A carrier is mounted for driven motion at the outer attachment tube. A motion transmitter is disposed inside the outer attachment tube and has a first end coupled with the carrier and a second end arranged for coupling with the essentially cylindrical drive shaft coupling end. The second end has a coupling unit having a top plate and at least one at least partly deformable and essentially cylindrical wall element extending from the top plate, or at least two elastic or deflectable wall elements extending from the top plate, respectively. Each of the elastic or deflectable wall elements extends over a portion of a virtual receiver cylinder, so that an essentially cylindrical receiver receptacle is defined by the top plate and the one at least partly deformable essentially cylindrical wall element or by the top plate and the at least two elastic or deflectable wall elements.

Power transmission shaft
A power transmission shaft includes a metal shaft member, and a resin shaft member connected to the metal shaft member in an axial direction of the power transmission shaft. The resin shaft member is made of fiber reinforced plastic. The metal shaft member and the resin shaft member are joined to each other through a close-contact fitting portion between a male spline, which is formed in an outer surface of the metal shaft member, and a female spline formed by press-fitting the male spline into the resin shaft member. An edge is formed at a radially outer edge portion of a press-fitting-start end surface of the male spline of the metal shaft member.

Shovel
A shovel includes an upper swing structure, a cab mounted on the upper swing structure, and an operating lever provided in the cab. The operating lever includes a lever part to which a grip part is fixed, a holder part to which the lever part is connected, and a joint part connecting the lever part and the holder part. The lever part is configured to be attachable to and detachable from the holder part in a tool-free manner with a predetermined manual operation on the joint part.
Patch rings and methods of use
Shaft assemblies, turbomachines, and methods of servicing a turbomachine are provided. A shaft assembly includes a first shaft having a first rabbet annularly defined therein. The first rabbet includes a first axially extending face and a first radially extending face. A second shaft coupled to the first shaft. The second shaft includes a second rabbet annularly defined therein and positioned opposite the first rabbet. The second rabbet includes a second axially extending face and a second radially extending face. A patch ring is mounted between the first rabbet and the second rabbet. The patch ring includes a main body positioned between and in contact with the first axially extending face and the second axially extending face. A first arm extends radially outward from the main body, and a second arm extends radially inward from the main body.

DOUBLE SUCTION PUMP
A disclosed submersible pump apparatus includes a three-dimensional frame, a pump housing, a drive shaft, an impeller, and first and second motors. The impeller is mounted on the driveshaft within the pump housing and is driven by one or both of the motors. The first motor is connected to a first end of the drive shaft and the second motor connected a second end of the drive shaft. The first and second motors are hydraulic motors and in a first configuration, the first and second motors are configured to cooperatively rotate the drive shaft with hydraulic fluid supplied to and removed from the first and second motors using a parallel fluidic connection. In a second configuration, only one of the motors has a drive gear and drives the drive shaft while the second motor does not have a drive gear and acts as a frictionless bearing supporting the drive shaft.
