An agricultural baler including a bale case, a plunger, a duct, and a stuffer unit, operably associated with the duct. The stuffer unit includes a fork assembly including tines, a drive mechanism acting on the fork assembly, and a clutch arrangement for selective coupling the drive mechanism to a power source of the baler. The clutch arrangement includes a selectively operable dog clutch including a driving clutch member and a driven clutch member. The driving and the driven clutch member are configured for selectively engaging each other in one direction of rotation of the driving clutch member relative to the driven clutch member. The clutch arrangement furthermore includes an overrunning clutch associated with the driving clutch member and the driven clutch member.

A method of coupling a drive unit to a tool adapter includes positioning the tool adapter below the drive unit; stabbing a drive stem into an interior of a tool stem sleeve; coupling torque between the drive unit and the tool adapter; and coupling load between the drive unit and the tool adapter by engaging a plurality of sliding coupling members.

The present invention discloses a clutch assembly which is comprised of (1) a cam plate which includes cams which are spaced about a central axis; (2) a rocker plate which includes at least one pocket, wherein the pocket includes a first rocker plate engagement surface and a second rocker plate engagement surface; and (3) at least one rocker which is pivotally situated within the pocket of the rocker plate, (4) a first solenoid, and (5) a second solenoid, wherein the solenoids can be activated or deactivated to allow for the clutch to be in a neutral position (to allow for free rotation in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions), to prevent rotation in a clockwise direction while allowing for free rotation in a counterclockwise direction, or to prevent rotation in a counterclockwise direction while allowing for free rotation in a clockwise direction.

Dynamic Rotary Locking Member
A selectively locking rotational bearing element includes at least one bearing element supporting an outer race for rotational movement and a plurality of locking elements disposed circumferentially about an inner surface of the outer race. An actuator selectively moves the plurality of locking elements into engagement with the outer race to restrict rotational movement of the outer race and selectively move the plurality of locking elements away from engagement with the outer race such that the outer race is free to rotate relative to the locking elements.

A surgical clip applier comprising an electric motor system is disclosed. The electric motor system is configured to drive a clip firing system of the surgical clip applier. The surgical clip applier further comprises a control system configured to control the electric motor system. The control system is configured to monitor a strain gauge circuit to assess the crimping force experienced by the clip firing system. In at least one instance, one or more strain gauges are mounted to a drive shaft and/or jaw of the clip firing system. The control system modifies the operation of the surgical clip applier when the voltage of the strain gauge circuit exceeds and/or falls below a threshold. In at least one instance, the control system modulates the width, or duration, of voltage pulses applied to the electric motor system to control the speed of the electric motor system.

The electromechanical disc brake includes a piston slidably disposed in a cylinder of a caliper housing to press a pad plate, an actuator including a motor and a speed reduction device for reducing a rotation speed of the motor, an output conversion device for converting a rotational motion from the speed reduction device into a linear motion and imparting a thrust to move the piston, an elastic member for moving the output conversion device to the original position when releasing braking, and a clutch device for releasing a torque acting on the speed reduction device such that the output conversion device is moved to the original position by the elastic member when releasing the braking.

The electromechanical disc brake includes a piston slidably disposed in a cylinder of a caliper housing to press a pad plate, an actuator including a motor and a speed reduction device for reducing a rotation speed of the motor, an output conversion device for converting a rotational motion from the speed reduction device into a linear motion and imparting a thrust to move the piston, an elastic member for moving the output conversion device to the original position when releasing braking, and a clutch device for releasing a torque acting on the speed reduction device such that the output conversion device is moved to the original position by the elastic member when releasing the braking.
