Transmission of internal combustion engine

A transmission of an internal combustion engine in which the shaft length of a main shaft can be shortened to eliminate a supporting wall around a reduction gear while a thrust load is received. Around a main shaft of a transmission of an internal combustion engine, a primary bearing is fastened to an inside of a primary driven gear, and is disposed between the primary driven gear and the main shaft. A collar member is disposed between the primary bearing and a main bearing. A step portion, in contact with the main bearing, is formed on the main shaft on an opposite side of the main bearing from the collar member. A cylindrical portion, an inner race of the primary bearing, the collar member, and an inner race of the main bearing are fastened to the side of the step portion.

A friction clutch assembly includes a friction clutch having at least two coupling elements coupled to each other and disposed axially movable with respect to each other. Immediately adjacent coupling elements are each assigned to two sides of a power path defined by the coupling of the at least two coupling elements. An intermediate element is provided on which the coupling elements of one side of the power path are held movably in an axial direction of the coupling elements. The intermediate element is switchable between a locked state and a free-running state. An actuator element opens and closes the friction clutch. In a free-running state, a free rotation of the held coupling elements with respect to the assigned side of the power path is permitted, and in a locked state the held coupling elements are blocked from free rotation.

WORK VEHICLE DRIVE ASSEMBLY

A drive assembly has a drive housing with a gear set and a wheel mount configured to rotate about a rotation axis on a wheel bearing assembly. A clutch component is mounted to a clutch hub and disposed between an input shaft and the gear set to selectively cause rotation of the wheel mount. A clutch actuation assembly moves the clutch component into energized and de-energized states with respect to the input shaft. The clutch actuation assembly has a spring to position the clutch component in one of the energized and de-energized states and a piston to position the clutch component in the other of the energized and de-energized states. The clutch actuation assembly has a reaction plate that is acted upon in a first axial direction by the spring and is acted upon by the piston in a second axial direction.
