A blocking device (1) for a fan that blocks a direction of rotation of a rotor (70), via which a wheel of the fan can be driven. The blocking device has a bearing tube (10), a rotor shaft (60) and a freewheel sleeve (50). The freewheel sleeve (50) is accommodated in the bearing tube (10) and is connected to the rotor shaft (60), which extends through the freewheel sleeve (50), for conjoint rotation. The freewheel sleeve (50) blocks rotation of the rotor shaft (60) at least in relation to the bearing tube (10) in the direction of rotation of the rotor.

A reverse input lock clutch has a fitting portion of a spring stopper rotatably fitted in a cylindrical dent formed by being surrounded by an inner diameter portion on an end surface of an output member on a side opposite to a fixed member. A locking portion rotates with the fitting portion awhile having one end of a first elastic member locked by a holder groove. Adjustment of the rotation position of the lock portion with respect to the output member is made by rotating the fitting portion within a range of a groove length of an adjustment groove with respect to the output member and anchoring an adjustment pin at a desired rotation position to the adjustment pin fixing portion so as to fix the fitting portion on the output member.

The brake-side clutch part includes an outer ring constrained in rotation, an output shaft to output the rotation, cylindrical rollers to control interruption of the rotational torque reversely input from the output shaft and transmission of the rotational torque input from the lever-side clutch part through engagement and disengagement between the outer ring and the output shaft, a friction ring to apply a rotational resistance to the output shaft, and a variable part to change the rotational resistance applied to the output shaft between the transmission and the interruption of the rotational torque.

Torque-limiting couplings

A coupling can include a barrel that includes a communication pathway, such as an electrical contact or optical pathway. The coupling can include a nut that is configured to engage with a corresponding portion of a mating connector, such as via a threaded connection. When the coupling and the mating connector are engaged, the nut secures the coupling and the mating connector together, and respective termination elements of the coupling and the mating connector are in communication with each other. The coupling can include a torque-limiting mechanism. The torque-limiting mechanism can be configured to enable the transmission of torque up to a limit amount, and to inhibit or prevent the transmission of torque above the limit amount.

Torque limiter assembly

A torque limiting assembly is disclosed comprising: an input shaft; an output shaft; a drive bush; a motion converter mechanism; a casing; and at least one engagement member for engaging the casing. In a low torque mode, rotation of the input shaft drives rotation of the drive bush, motion converter mechanism and output shaft. In a high torque mode, rotation of the motion converter mechanism relative to the output shaft urges the motion converter mechanism axially to drive rotation of the drive bush relative to the input shaft. The engagement member is coupled to both the drive bush and the input shaft such that when the drive bush is rotated relative to the input shaft, the engagement member is urged to engage the casing so as to prevent or inhibit rotation of the input shaft relative to the casing.

Torque limiter assembly

A torque limiting assembly is disclosed comprising: an input shaft; an output shaft; a drive bush; a motion converter mechanism; a casing; and at least one engagement member for engaging the casing. In a low torque mode, rotation of the input shaft drives rotation of the drive bush, motion converter mechanism and output shaft.
