FIXING DEVICE, FIXING METHOD, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE
A fixing device capable of reducing a burden on an operator when adjusting an inclination of communication equipment is achieved. A fixing device includes: a first jig configured to fix communication equipment; a second jig configured to rotatably support the first jig about a rotation shaft; a ratchet mechanism configured to be capable of switching restraint or permission of rotation of the first jig in one direction with respect to the second jig due to weight of the communication equipment, and permit rotation of the first jig in another direction with respect to the second jig; and a biasing member configured to store biasing force when the first jig rotates in one direction with respect to the second jig due to weight of the communication equipment, and bias rotation of the first jig in another direction with respect to the second jig.
Dual direction, selectable one-way clutch having center plate with drive openings
A dual direction, selectable one-way clutch is provided that can be set to be fully free to rotate in both directions, can be fully locked in both directions, and can provide a one-way clutch option in both directions. The actuator to change the clutch state is electromechanical and only requires power to change a coupling state of the clutch. The clutch is formed by two sets of struts carried by pocket plates on opposite sides of a center plate that includes spaced apart drive openings, and the struts are engageable/disengageable with the drive openings in order to provide for the different locked and one-way clutch states. One or more actuator rings are provided to activate or disengage the struts.
Switchable one-way clutch
A one-way clutch, including: a case; a drive plate enclosed by the case and defining openings; a first plate non-rotatably connected to the case and defining a first opening; a rotatable actuator plate; a strut including a central portion, an engagement portion, and a control portion; and a spring. In a locked mode: the spring pivots the engagement portion into an opening of the drive plate, a rotation of the drive plate in a first direction is enabled, and a rotation of the drive plate in a second direction is blocked. To transition from the locked mode to a free-wheel mode, in which the rotation of the drive plate in the second direction is enabled, the actuator plate is rotated by an actuator to contact the control portion and pivot the strut to displace the engagement portion out of the opening of the drive plate.
Coupling and control assembly including a non-contact, linear inductive position sensor
A coupling and control assembly including a non-contact, linear inductive position sensor is provided. The assembly includes a coupling housing and a stator structure disposed within the coupling housing and including a stator housing. A translator structure is coupled to a coupling member of the assembly to rotate therewith about a rotational axis. The sensor is mounted on one of the housings. The translator structure includes a coupler element made of an electrically conductive material. The sensor is configured to create a magnetic field to induce eddy currents in the electrically conductive material. Movement of the coupler element changes a magnetic field caused by the eddy currents. The sensor provides a position feedback signal for vehicle transmission control. The signal is correlated with the linear position of the translator structure along the rotational axis.
CENTRIFUGAL LIFT-OFF RATCHETING ONE-WAY CLUTCH WITH ROCKER POCKETS AND FRICTION REDUCTION
A one-way clutch, including: an outer race; an inner race; and a rocker assembly. The outer race includes: a first outer race plate defining a first rocker pocket; and a second outer race plate non-rotatably connected to the first outer race plate and defining a second rocker pocket. The inner race is axially disposed between the first and second outer race plates. The rocker assembly is at least partly disposed in the first and second rocker pockets and includes a rocker arranged to contact the inner race, a spring guide including a spring arm, and a spring wrapped around the spring arm and urging the rocker in a pivot direction. The one-way clutch includes: a first annular thrust washer axially disposed between the first outer race plate and the inner race; or a friction-reducing coating adhered to the first outer race plate and facing the inner race.

DOG CLUTCH WITH RATCHETING ONE-WAY CLUTCH
A dog clutch with ratcheting one-way clutch includes an axis, a dog clutch ring, a first ring, a second ring, and a plurality of rockers. The dog clutch ring has a plurality of first teeth. The first ring includes a plurality of second teeth, complementary to the first teeth, a first spline for receiving a first shaft, and a plurality of first pockets. The second ring includes a plurality of third teeth, complementary to the first teeth, a second spline for receiving a second shaft, and a plurality of second pockets. The plurality of rockers is disposed in a one of the plurality of first pockets or the plurality of second pockets for selectively engaging with the other one of the plurality of first pockets or the plurality of second pockets to prevent rotation of the first ring relative to the second ring in only one rotational direction.
