NANOFIBROUS MAT CONTAINING CERAMIC PARTICLES WITH RELEASABLE DOPANT
A nanofibrous mat comprising: electrospun nanofibres forming said mat; and ceramic particles dispersed throughout said nanofibres and comprising a ceramic matrix and a dopant releasably encapsulated within said ceramic matrix, wherein the ceramic particles are dispersed throughout the nanofibres during electrospinning of the nanofibres, whereby said dopant is protected by said ceramic matrix during said electrospinning.
Cyclic dinucleotide compounds as sting agonists
The disclosure provides cyclic dinucleotides that are useful as STING agonists, pharmaceutical compositions and vaccines comprising the cyclic dinucleotides, and methods of treating diseases and disorders using the cyclic dinucleotides, pharmaceutical compositions, and vaccines.
RNA FORMULATION FOR IMMUNOTHERAPY
The present invention is in the field of immunotherapy, in particular tumor immunotherapy. The present invention provides pharmaceutical formulations for delivering RNA to antigen presenting cells such as dendrite cells (DCs) in the spleen after systemic administration. In particular, the formulations described herein enable to induce an immune response after systemic administration of antigen-coding RNA.
CROSS-LINKED PRODUCT OF AMYLOID-B PROTEIN (AB) AS POTENTIAL SUBSTITUTE FOR AMYLOSPHEROIDS (ASPD) AND ANALYSIS OF ASPD
A substance that can be a substitute for amylospheroids (ASPD) and a method for analyzing ASPD are provided. Viewed from one aspect, the present disclosure relates to a substance in which amyloid-β protein (Aβ) is cross-linked with a cross-linking agent that has a spacer arm length of between 4 Å and 50 Å inclusive or a cross-linking agent that has, as a spacer arm, not less than 1 and not more than 13 groups that are an oxyethylene group(s) (—CH.sub.2CH.sub.2O—) and/or an oxypropylene group(s) (—CH.sub.2CH.sub.2CH.sub.3O—). Viewed from another aspect, the present disclosure relates to a method for analyzing ASPD using the substance as a reference material.
MESENCHYMAL STEM CELLS FOR USE IN THE TREATMENT OF CHRONIC GINGIVOSTOMATITIS
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) or a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of MSCs can be used in the treatment of chronic gingivostomatitis (CGS) in subjects, preferably in felines and canines. In a second aspect, MSCs or a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of MSCs can be used as an immunomodulating agent during the acute and/or the chronic phase of the CGS inflammatory reaction in subjects, preferably in felines and canines diagnosed with or suffering from chronic gingivostomatitis. In a last aspect, a pharmaceutical composition can comprise peripheral blood-derived MSCs.
METHODS FOR TREATING NEUTROPENIA
The present invention relates to methods of treating patients with neutropenia, such as severe, chronic neutropenia, or a related disorder, in which mavorixafor, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is administered to such patients. In some cases, the methods have the advantage of reducing or eliminating the need for administration of G-CSF, which is frequently associated with severe bone pain.
NITROGEN-CONTAINING HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUND HAVING INHIBITORY EFFECT ON PRODUCTION OF KYNURENINE
The present invention provides a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof having an inhibitory effect on the production of kynurenine, represented by formula (I):
