An example apparatus includes a base including a first locking surface, a wheel including an axle, and a locking body at the axle of the wheel to rotate with the wheel. The locking body includes a second locking surface to engage the first locking surface of the base to lock the wheel. The apparatus further includes a plate spring that captures the axle of the wheel to allow wheel to rotate. The plate spring urges the second locking surface of the locking body against the first locking surface of the base to lock the wheel. The plate spring is to deflect under application of an external force to separate the second locking surface of the locking body from the first locking surface of the base to allow the wheel to roll.

Electric park lock actuator limited rotary disconnect

An electronic parking pawl actuator which uses a smaller motor and higher gear ratio has the ability to configure a rooster comb to engage with various park detents, and reduces the mechanical and software design complexity. Furthermore, the electronic park actuator limits the amount of back drivable range (unable to perform an external park to neutral shift) for theft deterrence, and also allows operation (speed performance) and a lower motor peak current. The electronic parking pawl actuator includes an electric motor, a drive gear, the drive gear operable for being driven by the electric motor, and a drive mechanism, the drive mechanism is operable for being driven by the drive gear. The drive mechanism is engaged with an output shaft of a gear selector of a transmission, and the drive mechanism is rotatable relative to the drive gear, allowing the output shaft to be located in a desired position.

The present invention relates to a locking actuator (2) for a brake transmission (1), in particular for a brake transmission (1) of an electric parking and/or service brake, having a driving device (5), a housing (10), a transmission (20) with an axis of rotation (R) and an output (24), and a ratchet slide (30), which is movable in an axis (L) between a first position and a second position along a locking path, wherein the output (24) is coupled to the ratchet slide (30) via an eccentric (25) and can move the ratchet slide (30) in the axis (L) when the output (24) is rotated. In addition, the present invention relates to a brake transmission (1) and an operating and/or parking brake.

ELECTRO-MECHANICAL ACTUATOR WITH INTEGRATED FAIL-OPERATIONAL MECHANISM

Some embodiments relate to an electro-mechanical actuator that includes a screw, structurally segregated (split) housings, first and second nuts coupled to the screw, a sensor assembly, a plurality of motors, and a controller. The first nut is coupled to a first mounting point, and the second nut is coupled to a second mounting point. The sensor assembly may generate signals indicative of (e.g., relative) positions of left and right units of the actuator or positions of the first nut and the second nut on the screw. The controller controls the motors based on the signals generated by the sensor assembly. The motors may rotate each nut about a screw axis of the screw. This rotation results in one or both nuts moving along the screw. Movement between the first nut and the second nut along the screw adjusts a distance between the first mounting point and the second mounting point.

Rotor lock for wind turbine
11661924 · 2023-05-30 · ·

A lock for preventing rotation of a rotor of a wind turbine has a rotatable lock pin, a pin support supportable in a nacelle of the wind turbine and a mechanism for rotating the lock pin. The pin support has a hub-facing face proximate a rotor hub. The rotatable lock pin is rotatably mounted on the pin support. The lock pin has a cammed portion extending away from the hub-facing face toward the hub. The lock pin inserted into a complementary rotor lock aperture on the rotor hub when the pin support is supported in the nacelle. Rotation of the lock pin causes engagement of an exterior surface of the cammed portion with an interior surface of the rotor lock aperture to immobilize the lock pin against the interior surface to prevent relative motion between the lock pin and the aperture to prevent rotation of the rotor.
