Compact control device for failsafely controlling an electrical actuator
A compact control device for failsafely controlling an electrical actuator capable of moving a movable machine part into a defined end position, has an input connection for receiving an external control signal representing a desired position of the machine part. The compact control device further has an input part for detecting a position signal, which signals an actual position of the machine part at the defined end position. A power section comprises a power switching element for switching on and failsafely switching off a control current for the actuator that is supplied to the electrical actuator via a first output connection. The compact control device has a second output connection for providing an external status signal and an evaluation unit which actuates the power switching element depending on the external control signal and generates the external status signal at the second output connection depending on the position signal.

Automatic slack adjuster
A clearance sensing vehicle brake slack adjuster includes a housing coupled to a brake actuator and supporting a driving worm wheel engaging the brake cam shaft and a driving worm screw having a threaded portion meshed with the driving worm wheel and transferring a brake actuating force, imparted by the brake actuator to the housing, to the driving worm wheel and cam shaft. A wear adjustment mechanism for the adjuster includes a control worm wheel and a clutch ring disposed about the driving worm screw and a wrap spring engaging surfaces of the control worm wheel and the clutch ring. The control worm wheel is in mesh with a control worm screw. The clutch ring is disposed on a side of the control worm wheel opposite the threaded portion of the driving worm screw and includes teeth engaging corresponding teeth on the driving worm screw.
Electrohydraulic damper for elevator system
A frictional damper for an elevator system includes one or more friction pads configured to move between a first position, and a second position defined by engagement of the one or more friction pads to the guide rail. An actuation unit urges the one or more friction pads into and out of engagement with the guide rail. The actuation unit includes a hydraulic actuator operably connected to the one or more friction pads to urge movement of the one or more friction pads into and out of engagement with the guide rail via hydraulic fluid pressure. The hydraulic actuator includes a hydraulic cylinder containing a volume of hydraulic fluid and a hydraulic piston located in the hydraulic cylinder and operably connected to the one or more friction pads. An electromagnetic actuator selectably urges hydraulic fluid to apply a force to the hydraulic piston, urging the movement of the friction pads.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLYING BRAKES TO A STEEL WHEELED VEHICLE
A braking system for a steel wheeled vehicle is provided. The braking system includes an actuator assembly and a brake member operably engaged with the actuator assembly. The brake member contacts a flat surface of a wheel of the steel wheeled vehicle. A method for applying brakes to a steel wheeled vehicle is also provided. The method includes applying brake pressure, via a brake member, to a flat surface of a wheel of the steel wheeled vehicle.

Rotary device
A rotary device includes a rotatable member and a limiting member. The rotatable member includes a positioning mechanism, the positioning mechanism includes a stopping member and a positioning member. When the rotatable member rotates along a first rotation direction to make the limiting member abut against the positioning member, the positioning member is pushed by the limiting member to move away from the stopping portion and rotate relative to the stopping member, so that the positioning member to passes through the limiting member. When the rotatable member rotates along a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction to make the limiting member abut against the positioning member, the positioning member is pushed by the limiting member to move close to the stopping portion, so that the positioning member is stopped between the limiting member and the stopping portion, to position the rotatable member.

Parking lever switch and operating method thereof
A parking lever switch may include a spring supporter; a switch input and output terminal, which can contact the spring supporter; an elastic spring supporting the spring supporter; a cable rod connected with the spring supporter; and a cable guide that guides the cable rod. The switch is energized when the force applied to the spring supporter connected with the cable rod is equal to or greater than the value obtained by multiplying a spring constant k of the elastic spring by a displacement.
Hybrid motor vehicle and method for operating a hybrid motor vehicle
