Clutch assembly and system
Power transmission systems including clutch arrangements and systems are adapted to be used in marine and other environments. Such power transmission systems may include clutch arrangements that provide more effective power transmission capabilities as well as greater durability and longer life. Slipping clutch arrangements may effectively vary the output speed of a clutch arrangement from the speed of the engine or other driver as desired for the particular application. Various clutch arrangements also provide for greater flexibility and drive options, lighter weight, and diverse types of capabilities.
BRAKE PAD
The invention relates to a brake pad for a disk brake, comprising a backplate, and a friction layer with a friction surface configured for engaging with a brake disk. The friction layer has a pressure groove, the pressure groove extending from a leading edge of the friction layer. The pressure groove is delimited by the friction surface on an outer circumferential side, and on in inner circumferential side, and on a trailing side, and is open on a leading side.
BRAKE LINING IN DISC BRAKES, IN PARTICULAR OF VEHICLES, HAVING A GROOVE CONFIGURATION IN THE FRICTION LINING
The invention relates to a brake lining for disc brakes, in particular for vehicles, having a groove configuration in the friction lining. The groove extends from the entry side to the exit side of the brake lining and converges towards the exit side.
REACTION PLATE HAVING A LASER TREATED SURFACE, CLUTCH ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A LASER TREATED REACTION PLATE, AND METHOD OF LASER TREATING A REACTION PLATE
A reaction plate for a clutch including an annular body, the annular body including an inner circumferential edge, an outer circumferential edge, a first surface between the inner and outer circumferential edges and facing a first axial direction and a second surface between the inner and outer circumferential surfaces and facing a second axial direction, the second surface including recesses covering at least 50 percent of the second surface. A clutch assembly including a friction plate, the friction plate having a first axially-facing surface including a friction material, a reaction plate, the reaction plate having a second axially-facing surface including recesses covering at least 50 percent of the second axially-facing surface and an actuation means arranged to displace the friction plate or the reaction plate such that the first and second axially-facing surfaces frictionally engage. A method of fabricating a reaction plate for a clutch.
DISC BRAKE DEVICE AND DISC BRAKE FOR RAILWAY
In a disc brake apparatus, a parallelism maintaining control mechanism for pressing lining surfaces of pads against a disc rotor in parallel includes a pressure plate which is brought into abutment with a pad holding member, a link arm having a fixing shaft projecting from a caliper body in parallel to a side surface of a disc rotor, a moving shaft disposed in parallel to the fixing shaft and pivotally supporting the pressure plate, joint members which connect the fixing shaft and the moving shaft in parallel to each other and a connecting shaft for pivotally connecting the joint members to each other, and a spring member for pressing the pressure plate against the pad holding member.
Brake disc with symmetric groove pattern
A brake disc for a wheeled vehicle; said brake disc including opposing annular braking surfaces; each of said surfaces provided with an identical pattern of disparate arcuate groove segments; said groove segments arranged in groups oriented in both clockwise and anti-clockwise directions; each of said groups including, one series of at least two arcuate groove segments lying along a common arc extending from proximate a hub of said braking surface to proximate the periphery of said braking surface, one inward arcuate groove segment extending from proximate said hub to a point intermediate said hub and said periphery, and one outward arcuate groove segment extending from a point intermediate said hub and said periphery to proximate said periphery.
MULTI-PLATE CLUTCH
The invention relates to a wet-running multi-plate clutch (1) comprising a number of inner plates (2) and a number of outer plates (3), and a first friction lining (6) is disposed on either side of every inner plate (2) respectively and a second friction lining (8) is disposed on either side of every outer plate (3) respectively, and the first friction linings (6) are located entirely underneath the second friction linings (8) in the radial direction so that the first friction linings (6) move into frictional contact with the outer plate main bodies (7) when the multi-plate clutch (1) is engaged and the second friction linings (8) move into frictional contact with the inner plate main bodies (5) when the multi-plate clutch (1) is engaged. The first friction linings (6) respectively have at least one first groove (13) with a groove depth of up to 100% of a friction lining thickness of the first friction linings (6) and the second friction linings (8) have no or respectively have at least one second groove (16) which has a smaller cross-sectional surface area, as viewed in the longitudinal extension of the second grooves (16), than the first grooves (13) as viewed in the same direction.
WEAR RESISTANT BRAKING SYSTEMS
In some implementations of the current subject matter, a brake rotor can include a supporting layer applied to a friction surface of a brake rotor substrate, which can optionally include cast iron, and a coating applied over the supporting layer. The supporting layer can include a preparatory metal, and the coating can impart wear and corrosion resistant properties to the friction surface. Related systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and the like are disclosed.
Method for optimizing feature parameters of straight grooves of wet friction element
Disclosed is a method for optimizing feature parameters of straight grooves of a wet friction element and relates to the technical field of heavy-duty vehicle transmission. By using the method, the feature parameters of the straight grooves of the wet friction element can be improved by optimization, and the thermoelastic stability of the wet friction element can be improved.
