CRUSHABLE BODY FOR POSITION ADJUSTMENT
The present application relates to crushable body in the form of a corrugated thin walled tube e.g. for use in a piston assembly for engaging two selectively engageable parts. The piston assembly has a housing defining a piston cylinder and a piston. The assembly also has a piston stroke limiter. The piston stroke limiter is configured to limit the length of a return stroke of the piston from an extended stroke position and a retracted stroke position. A crushable body in the form of a corrugated thin walled tube acts between the piston and the piston stroke limiter and is arranged to reduce in axial length when a length of an extended stroke exceeds a length of a retraction stroke to maintain the length of the return stroke.

Braking Device for a Motor Vehicle, and Method for Controlling the Braking Device
A method of applying an automated parking brake of a motor vehicle includes at least two phases. In a first preceding phase, no clamping force is produced by the parking brake. In a second following phase, a clamping force is produced by the parking brake via a controllable parking brake actuator configured to produce the clamping force. The method further includes detecting a transition from the first phase to the second phase based on a temporal progression of a specific parameter of a control of the parking brake actuator. A control unit is configured to perform according to the method, and a parking brake is configured to perform according to the method.
Disc brake
A disc brake includes a pair of end-side connector parts that connect a pair of cylinder parts across over a disc rotor, and an intermediate connector part that is installed between the end-side connector parts and that connects the pair of cylinder parts across over the disc rotor and brake pads. The brake pads are provided with protrusion segments that are formed at positions that are outer end sides in a rotor radial direction and that protrude in directions separated from middle portions of the brake pads in a rotor rotational direction, and the end-side connector parts are provided with pad engaging faces on which inner regions in the rotor radial direction of the protrusion segments are oppositely disposed and which are formed of the same member as a caliper main body.
Brake actuator for aircraft wheel hydraulic brake
The invention relates to a brake actuator for an aircraft hydraulic brake, which is intended to be added into one of the cavities of a brake ring, the actuator comprising a liner (1) designed to be housed sealingly in the cavity of the ring, a piston (3) mounted to slide sealingly in the liner along an axis of sliding (X) so as to apply a braking force on friction pads when a fluid is introduced under pressure into the cavity, and having a determined operational travel, a wear compensation device (10) which defines a position to which the piston retreats into the liner by means of a mobile stop (11) that can be moved forward by the piston as a braking force is applied, and an elastic return member (16) returning the piston towards the retracted position bearing against the mobile stop. According to the invention, the mobile stop is reduced to a friction member rubbing against the liner, such that one of the faces of the friction member serves as a stop defining the retracted position of the piston, and the other of the faces serves as a support for the elastic return member, the elastic member having, when compressed, a sufficient increase in force in order to be able to push back the mobile stop in the event that the piston is not in contact with the friction pads while its operational travel is already exhausted.
