Carbon black in effect pigments
The present application is directed to combination effect pigments comprising an effect pigment and carbon black, wherein the carbon black is adherently deposited on the effect pigment interposed within the substrate and at least one subsequent layer of the effect pigment. This structure of the combination effect pigment results in advantageous non-staining properties of the pigment and maximizes color effects of the carbon black.

OILY MOISTURIZER AND TOPICAL SKIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME
The present invention provides an oily moisturizer composed of an esterified product of a component A and a component B, or an esterified product of the component A, the component B and a component C, wherein the hydroxyl value of the esterified product is within a range from 0 to 160 mgKOH/g, and the mass ratio between fatty acid residues derived from the component B and fatty acid residues derived from the component C within the fatty acid residues that constitute the esterified product of the component A, the component B and the component C is within a range from 99.9:0.1 to 45:55. The invention also provides a topical skin composition containing the oily moisturizer.
Component A: a polyhydric alcohol that is dipentaerythritol, erythritol or sorbitan
Component B: one fatty acid, or two or more fatty acids, selected from among linear saturated fatty acids of 6 to 10 carbon atoms
Component C: one fatty acid, or two or more fatty acids, selected from among fatty acids of 6 to 28 carbon atoms (but excluding fatty acids of the component B)

Makeup-fixing cosmetic composition
The present invention proposes a new way of having makeup last longer on the skin. The present invention comprises the supply and use of a new liquid cosmetic composition comprising the combining of styrene/acrylates copolymer and Biosaccharide Gum-4 preferably in an aqueous solution. This makeup-fixing composition is intended to be sprayed on top of makeup compositions, after they have been applied to the skin, so as to delay the deterioration of makeup compositions and thus having the makeup last longer.
WHITE PIGMENT FOR COSMETICS, AND COSMETIC
Provided is a white pigment for cosmetics, and the white pigment has a higher function as a base pigment than that of titanium oxide. A white pigment for cosmetics of the present invention includes a titanium phosphate powder having a whiteness of 92.91 or more as determined in accordance with JIS Z 8715.

Cosmetic coloring material and use thereof
The present invention relates to a novel coloring material including a polyamide powder and/or a polyurethane powder and a water-soluble dye. The coloring material of the present invention allows a water-soluble dye to be used in anhydrous formulations. Thereby, the range of use of dyes may be widened, reflectance may be excellent, and fluorescence properties may be obtained. Accordingly, the present invention may broaden the spectrum of cosmetic coloring materials used in limited applications in the cosmetic field.
Dispersion of polymer particles in a non-aqueous medium and cosmetic use thereof
The invention relates to a dispersion of polymer particles stabilized with a stabilizer in a nonaqueous medium containing at least one hydrocarbon-based oil, the polymer of the particles being a C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer; the stabilizer being a C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer and optionally of a silicone macromonomer (I): the stabilizer being a polymer comprising from 50% to 100% by weight, relative to the total weight of the stabilizer, of C.sub.8-C.sub.22 alkyl acrylate, from 0 to 50% by weight of C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkyl (meth)acrylate and optionally silicone macromonomer (I). The invention also relates to the composition comprising said dispersion of polymer particles. Cosmetic use for caring for and making up keratin materials.
