Electric drum brake system having a rationalized electric parking brake actuator
A novel, particularly rationally designed, modular parking brake actuator for an electric drum brake system. An axle A1 from the motor, including a screw gear pinion coupled in a rotationally fixed manner, and an axle of the spindle arrangement, including a screw gear which is coupled in a rotationally fixed manner to the drive nut, define under a deflection of 90 a single wheel gearbox stage of the parking brake actuator.
Bi-directional clutch for wind turbine yaw locking system
A yaw system for a wind turbine can have a yaw bearing with an outer bearing ring, an inner bearing ring, and a plurality of yaw rollers rotationally disposed between the outer and inner bearing rings so as to allow relative motion between the outer and inner bearing rings. A bi-directional braking assembly having an outer clutch ring attached to the outer bearing ring, an inner clutch ring attached to the inner bearing ring, and a plurality of brake rollers rotationally and slidably disposed between the inner clutch ring and at least one locking ramp adjacent the outer clutch ring. A plurality of spring members can extend from either ring projections or activation projections to each brake roller. An activation ring can slidably position the plurality of brake rollers into one of a locked position or unlocked position to prevent yaw rotation in an undesired direction.
Railway car brake lock
A railway car brake lock has a brake linkage arm connector configured to connect to a brake linkage arm. A draw rod is connected to the brake linkage arm connector. The draw rod has a locking rack with a plurality of locking rack teeth. An outside shell holds the locking rack, while allowing the locking rack to slide between a locking rack engaged position and a locking rack disengaged position. The locking rack engaged position corresponds to a railway car brake engaged position and wherein the locking rack disengaged position corresponds to a railway car brake disengaged position. A locking actuator piston has locking actuator piston teeth that engage the locking rack teeth when the locking actuator piston slides from a locking actuator piston disengaged position to a locking actuator piston engaged position.
Railway Car Brake Lock
A railway slipping block brake lock has a brake linkage arm connector configured to connect a brake linkage arm to a draw rod. A draw rod is connected to the brake linkage arm connector. The draw rod has a draw rod engaged position corresponding to a railway brake engaged position, and the draw rod has a draw rod disengaged position corresponding to a railway brake disengaged position. A slipping block is mounted around the draw rod. The slipping block has a wedge shaped profile that fits to a wedge-shaped opening of a retaining frame. The retaining frame has a retaining frame wedge-shaped inside profile to receive the slipping block. The slipping block releases the draw rod and disengages from the retaining frame when the draw rod moves toward an engaged position.
Mechanical disc brake structure
A mechanical disc brake structure contains: a base, two disc brake units, and a connection block. The base includes at least one elongated fixer, a first receiving space, two first connecting portions, two second receiving spaces, two limiting grooves two connection racks, two through orifices. Each disc brake unit includes a rotation portion, multiple first balls, a first circular disk, a second circular disk, an affix element, and a first cap. The connection block includes a first aperture configured to correspond to the second hole of the rotation portion of each disc brake unit so that each of two locking elements is connected with the second hole and the passing aperture; the connection block further includes a second aperture formed on a predetermined position thereof so that the steel cable is inserted into the connector from the second aperture of the connection block.
Power delivery device for automatic transmission
A power delivery device configured for an automatic transmission may include a brake disposed between a rotation element connected to a brake hub and a transmission housing, and a piston device disposed corresponding to the brake and operating the brake by hydraulic pressure, wherein the power delivery device configured for an automatic transmission selectively connects the rotation element to the transmission housing by use of dual pistons.
Disc brake, in particular for utility vehicles
A disc brake for utility vehicles includes a brake disc, a first brake lining on a first side of the brake disc and a second brake lining on a second side of the brake disc opposite the first side. A spreading device is also provided which generates a force that moves the first and the second brake lining away from one another.
Rotary drive device comprising load-dependent brakes
A rotary drive device includes a housing element, a drive shaft and a driven shaft, both rotatably mounted in the housing element, a transmission device that transmits torque from the drive shaft to the driven shaft, and a braking device configured to counteract rotation of the drive shaft. The braking device includes a drive shaft input element, a braking element connected to the housing element for conjoint rotation, and a coupling element adjustable with respect to the input element. A braking force exerted by the braking device is greater when the coupling element is located in a first position than when located in a second position, and the coupling element assigned to the driven shaft so that adjustment from the first position to the second position is triggered by exceeding a threshold value of the difference in torque between the drive shaft and the driven shaft.
Locking device of an electromagnetically-operated brake caliper, brake caliper comprising said caliper, method for operating said caliper
A locking device of an electromechanically-operated brake caliper for a disc brake, comprising a ratchet comprising a rotating element having at least one first cam and one first follower pushed elastically against said rotating element, configured to act in conjunction with said at least one first cam to allow the rotation of the rotating element in a first direction of rotation, and to prevent the rotation of the rotating element in a second direction of rotation, opposite to said first direction of rotation; a selector element sliding between a first selector element position and a second selector element position, said selector element being adapted to operate said first follower so that, in said first selector element position, said selector element keeps said first follower in a disengaged position away from the rotating element in which the application of a parking braking action is prevented, and so that, in said second selector element position, the selector element keeps said first follower in an engaged position in contact with said rotating element in which a parking braking action can be applied; said selector element having a second cam and said first follower having a first follower opening forming a second follower, said second cam being configured to act in conjunction with said second follower to operate said first follower between said engaged position and said disengaged position.
