The agent (a) comprises: (a1) at least one organic silicon compound selected from the group of silanes having one, two, or three silicon atoms, and (a2) at least one ester of glycerol with a C.sub.2-C.sub.6 aliphatic carboxylic acid. The agent (b) comprises (b1) at least one sealing reagent. At least one of the agents (a) and (b) further comprises at least one colorant compound selected from the group of pigments and/or direct dyes. A multi-component packaging unit (kit-of-parts) comprising, separately packaged, agents (a) and (b) is also disclosed, along with methods of making and using the same.
PROCESS FOR THE TREATMENT OF KERATIN FIBERS EMPLOYING A COMPOSITION COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE ALKOXYSILANE OF FORMULA (I), AT LEAST ONE NON AMINO SILICONE OF FORMULA (II) HAVING A WEIGHT-AVERAGE MOLECULAR WEIGHT OF LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 1500 G/MOL AND AT LEAST ONE COLORING AGENT
A subject matter of the present invention is a process for the treatment of keratin fibers, such as the hair, comprising the application, to the keratin fibers, of a composition comprising at least one alkoxysilane chosen from the compounds of formula (I), at least one non amino silicone of formula (II), the non amino silicone(s) of formula (II) having a weight-average molecular weight of less than or equal to 1500 g/mol and at least one coloring agent chosen from pigments, direct dyes and their mixtures, followed by a stage of application of heat to the keratin fibers covered with the composition, using a heating tool, at a temperature of greater than or equal to 45° C. for a period of time of greater than or equal to 15 minutes.
COMPOSITION FOR INHIBITING HAIR GRAYING, AND USE THEREOF
Provided is a composition for inhibiting hair graying, having an excellent effect of preventing the occurrence of gray hair, and a use thereof. A composition for inhibiting hair graying, of the presently claimed subject matter, activates the Wnt and β-catenin signaling pathway to promote melanin synthesis in hair, thereby having remarkably excellent hair graying (canities) inhibition, prevention, improvement, alleviation, delaying, or treatment effects.
Method of coloring hair with direct dye compounds
Described herein is a method of dyeing the hair. The method includes applying to the hair a hair color composition including one or more direct dye compounds and rinsing the hair with water. The one or more direct dye compounds each include a chromophore, one or two permanent cations, and one to four incipient cations. The one to four incipient cations are pendant to the core structure and are neutral. The one or more direct dye compounds enter the hair shaft after the hair color composition is applied to the hair. The hair color composition has a pH of from about 7 to about 11. The pH of the hair after rinsing is from about 3.5 to about 6. The rinsing of the hair causes one or more of the one to four incipient cations to change from neutral to positively charged inside of the hair shaft.
Dye composition comprising a combination of natural dyeing agents including an extract of Lawsonia inermis
The disclosure relates to a dye composition comprising a combination of natural dyeing agents including an extract of Lawsonia inermis. The disclosure also relates to the cosmetic use of said composition for dyeing keratin fibers. The disclosure also relates to a cosmetic method for dyeing keratin fibers comprising the application of such a composition.
DIRECT DYES AND COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE DYES
The present invention relates to novel direct dyes and compositions comprising them for dyeing keratin fibers especially human hair. The novel dyes of the present invention have benzothiophene structure providing intensive and homogeneous dyeing on keratin fibers, especially human hair.
PROCESS FOR ALTERING THE COLOR OF KERATIN FIBERS
The present invention relates to a composition for dyeing keratin fibers, comprising at least (i) one or more copolymers derived from the polymerization of at least one crotonic acid monomer or crotonic acid derivative and of at least one vinyl ester monomer, (ii) at least one silicone, the total amount of silicone(s) ranging from 0.1 % to 15% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition, and (iii) one or more pigments. The invention also relates to a dyeing process in which said composition is applied to keratin fibers, the operation optionally being followed by drying. The composition makes it possible to obtain temporary dyeing having the advantage of forming a transfer-resistant deposit, leaving the treated fibers individualized, with an improved cosmetic feel.
