VIBRATION REDUCTION DEVICE
A lock-up device includes a damper portion and a dynamic damper device. The damper portion damps vibration inputted from a front cover. The damper portion includes a driven plate coupled to a turbine shell of a torque converter body on a radially outside side. The dynamic damper device absorbs vibration transmitted from the driven plate to the turbine shell. The dynamic damper device includes at least one damper plate portion. The damper plate portion is coupled to the turbine shell on a radially outside side.
LOCK-UP DEVICE FOR TORQUE CONVERTER
A lock-up device for a torque converter transmits a torque from a front cover to a transmission-side member through a turbine. The lock-up device includes a clutch portion and a damper portion. The clutch portion includes a clutch plate and transmits the torque from the front cover toward the turbine. The damper portion includes an elastic member, a holding member and an output-side member. The elastic member attenuates a fluctuation in the torque. The holding member holds the elastic member and is provided with an engaging part integrated therewith. The engaging part is engaged with the clutch plate. The output-side member is rotatable relatively to the holding member within a range of a predetermined angle. The output-side member transmits the torque toward the turbine when the torque is transmitted to the elastic member through the holding member.
Clutch unit with torsional vibration damper as a clutch support, and hybrid module comprising clutch unit
A clutch unit for a powertrain of a motor vehicle is disclosed, comprising a torque input component acting as a drive element and a torque output component acting as an output element, which can be connected to transmit a torque to the torque input component through a clutch which can be switched through friction elements, the clutch having two partial clutches by which the torque input component and the torque output component can be connected so as to transmit a torque, in which one of the two partial clutches is configured as a positive-fit clutch and the other of the two partial clutches is configured as a friction clutch. In addition, the disclosure relates to a hybrid module with a first drive machine the output shaft of which can be connected through such a clutch unit to an output shaft of a second drive machine or a transmission input shaft.
Tuned Mass-Spring Damper
A wheel/hub assembly includes an axle shaft, a wheel, and a hub supporting the wheel on the axle shaft. The wheel/hub assembly has a target resonant frequency of vibration. A tuned mass-spring damper is vibrationally coupled to the wheel/hub assembly, and has a counteracting resonant frequency of vibration that is predetermined with reference to the target resonant frequency of vibration.
Device for absorbing structure-borne sound
A device for absorbing structure-borne sound comprises at least one torque transmitting flange having two or more layers of materials of different damping capacity and stiffness stacked on each other. At least a portion of the flange has a radially jagged cross-sectional profile including two or more flanks consecutively arranged in radial direction and alternately inclined to the radial direction. The consecutive flanks merge into each other by forming corners, respectively. This structure-borne sound absorber reduces the propagation of vibrations at acoustically relevant frequencies via rotating machine parts. Combination with a compensation coupling results in a high-elasticity coupling preventing noise radiation.
Isolating decoupler
An isolating decoupler comprising a shaft, a pulley journalled to the shaft, a torsion spring, the torsion spring comprising a flat surface planar in a plane normal to the rotation axis A-A on each end of the torsion spring, a one-way clutch engaged between the torsion spring and the shaft, a weld bead joining a torsion spring end to the one-way clutch, and a weld bead joining the other torsion spring end to the pulley.
PROPORTIONALLY DAMPED POWER TRANSFER DEVICE USING TORSION SPRING FORCE
In an aspect, a power transfer device, such as a decoupler, is provided for transferring torque between a shaft and a belt. The device includes: a hub configured to 5 couple to the shaft, a pulley rotatably coupled to the hub that includes a power transmitting surface configured to engage the belt, an isolation spring to transfer a rotational load from one of the pulley and the hub to the other of the pulley and the hub, optionally a one-way clutch to permit overrunning of one of the pulley and the hub relative to the other of the pulley and the hub in a first direction, and a damping member 10 positioned to be driven into frictional engagement with a friction surface by a force from the isolation spring acting on the damping member that varies based on the rotational load transferred by the isolation spring.
Filtering device for damping vibrations in a conduit of a hydraulic actuation system for disengaging a clutch
A filtering device includes a tubular outer body with an intermediate chamber containing a pair of cup-shaped valve elements mounted floating and slidable coaxially with opposing cavities in which an axially compressed spring is housed. The first cup-shaped valve element is arranged coaxially outside the second cup-shaped valve element and has a base with a central through opening and a tubular portion with a series of ribs. The second cup-shaped valve element has a perforated base abutting against a perforated plug fixed to one side of the cavity passing towards the master cylinder. The perforated plug forms a through seat that slidably houses an appendage of the second cup-shaped valve element. Passages are formed around the plug that establish fluid communication between the intermediate chamber and a passage to the master cylinder.
DRIVE DEVICE
A drive device with a drive unit which has an output shaft and is mechanically connected to a driven shaft of the drive device via a clutch. At least one hydraulic channel and one hydraulic cylinder flow-connected to the hydraulic channel are formed in the output shaft, wherein a hydraulic piston coupled to the clutch for operating the same is displaceably arranged in the hydraulic cylinder.
