Power transmission systems including clutch arrangement and control systems are adapted to be used in numerous different operational environments. Such power transmission systems may include clutch arrangements that provide more effective power transmission capabilities, reduced vibration, greater durability and longer life. Control arrangements are provided to more effectively control and monitor clutch operation in ways that provide for greater system flexibility and drive options. Structures that minimize vibrations may be included in a clutch housing as well as in clutch and separator discs of a disc pack.

Wet clutch assemblies

A wet clutch assembly can include a clutch pack having a plurality of friction members attached to a first clutch housing and a plurality of separator members attached to a second clutch housing. The friction members and the separator members can be configured to be selectively contacted to each other to engage the first housing member to the second housing member. The clutch pack can be in fluid communication with a lubrication source such that a lubrication flow can flow to the friction members and the separator members to remove heat and/or debris therefrom.

Housing of a solenoid valve unit, solenoid valve unit, clutch actuation unit, vehicle clutch unit and method for installing the solenoid valve unit

A housing of a solenoid valve unit for controlling a central clutch actuator of a utility vehicle is configured for installation in a transmission housing, preferably in a clutch case, and for accommodating at least one solenoid valve. The housing has an elongate housing shape that is curved along its longitudinal direction to enable installation in tight spaces.

Portable power tool having a shiftable transmission

A portable power tool has a drive unit for rotationally driving a tool receptacle about an axis of rotation, the drive unit having at least one drive motor and a shiftable transmission, which is arranged in a transmission housing with an at least partially sleeve-like clutch housing and a transmission cover fastened thereto. The tool includes a shifting element for shifting the shiftable transmission between at least two different gears, and a locking sleeve for locking the shifting element in at least a first and a second shifting position is arranged in the clutch housing. The shiftable transmission forms, at least in the first shifting position, a cross-sectional plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation in which the locking sleeve is arranged at least regionally between the transmission cover and the shifting element and the shifting element is arranged at least regionally between the locking sleeve and the clutch housing.

Cover for a universal joint of a driveshaft

A cover for a universal joint of a driveshaft comprises a first section, a second section, at least two cover fasteners, and at least one driveshaft fastener. At least a first cover fastener of the at least two cover fasteners is configured to connect a first section first edge to a second section first edge. At least a second cover fastener of the at least two cover fasteners is configured to connect a first section second edge to a second section second edge. The at least one driveshaft fastener is configured to connect the cover to the driveshaft or a yoke thereof without any portion of the cover contacting the universal joint.

A friction clutch mechanism includes a diaphragm spring, a pressure plate having a peripheral fulcrum acting against a first face of the diaphragm spring, and a pair of axially opposed intermediate fulcrums supported by a clutch cover and acting on the opposite faces of the diaphragm spring along a radially intermediate portion thereof. The friction clutch mechanism has an additional elastic element, operatively associated with a first intermediate fulcrum of the pair of axially opposed intermediate fulcrums, and axially and elastically compressible in response to a deflection of the diaphragm spring towards an open friction condition. The additional elastic element has a radially innermost annular portion resting on one or more bearing surfaces supported by the clutch cover, and a radially outermost annular portion that cantilevers and has a protrusion circumferentially extended and axially projecting towards the first face of the diaphragm spring to serve as the first intermediate fulcrum.
