A switching valve for an air spring arrangement of a motor vehicle, which switching valve has a valve housing arrangement which, in the installed state, is arranged between a first air volume and a second air volume. A valve closing member arrangement is actuatable by an actuator is provided such that the valve closing member arrangement, in a first position, fluidically connects the first air volume to the second air volume and, in a second position, fluidically separates the first air volume from the second air volume. The valve closing member arrangement is designed as a rotary slide arrangement. A rotary slide member with first openings is provided between two valve closing bodies, wherein, in the first position, the first openings correspond with second openings of the valve closing body such that a fluidic connection can be produced between the first and the second air volume.

A valve closing member arrangement is actuatable by an actuator is provided such that the valve closing member arrangement, in a first position, fluidically connects the first air volume to the second air volume and, in a second position, fluidically separates the first air volume from the second air volume. An independent suspension assembly for a vehicle, said assembly including: a suspension arm pivotally attachable at a first end to a point fast with the vehicle; a support member for rigid attachment of a lower end of a resilient member at a remote end of the suspension arm the resilient member having a remote side and a near side, the remote side being further from said point than the near side; and a pivoting mounting assembly attachable to the vehicle for attachment of an upper end of the resilient member; wherein pivoting of the suspension arm causes the resilient member to elicit pivoting of the pivoting assembly for minimizing a difference in lengthening between the remote and near sides of the resilient member.
HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE SUSPENSION APPARATUS WITH SELECTIVE FLUID PRESSURE COMMUNICATION
A suspension apparatus includes a spring piston and a spring tube body. The spring piston is slidably disposed within the spring tube body to move within the spring tube body over a travel along an axis of reciprocation. The spring piston bounds a primary positive gas spring chamber at least a first portion of a primary negative gas spring chamber. The suspension apparatus also includes a secondary negative gas spring chamber and a separator. The separator permits fluid pressure communication between the primary negative gas spring chamber and the secondary negative gas spring chamber over a first portion of the travel of the spring piston, and the separator prevents fluid pressure communication between the primary negative gas spring chamber and the secondary negative gas spring chamber over a second portion of the travel of the spring piston.

Compression sensitive suspension dampening
A spring for a suspension is described. The spring includes: a spring chamber divided into at least a primary portion and a secondary portion, and a fluid flow path coupled with and between the primary portion and the secondary portion. The fluid flow path includes a bypass mechanism, wherein the bypass mechanism is configured for automatically providing resistance within the fluid flow path in response to a compressed condition of the suspension.
Air spring assembly
An air spring assembly is disclosed. The air spring assembly includes an upper fork tube having a base lug on one end, a lower fork tube having an opening to receive the upper fork tube in a first axial end, and a fork tube gas seal to form a gas seal between the upper fork tube and the lower fork tube. A partial cartridge tube within a portion of the upper fork tube, the partial cartridge tube including a partial cartridge tube gas seal between an outer diameter (OD) of the partial cartridge tube and an inner diameter (ID) of the upper fork tube. An annular volume formed between the ID of the upper fork tube, the OD of the partial cartridge tube, the partial cartridge tube gas seal, and the base lug of the upper fork tube.
Seal housing
The present invention provides a seal housing (102) for releasable attachment to a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder (101), the seal housing (102) being suitable for retaining a seal assembly and the seal housing (102) comprising a generally annular main body (201). The annular main body (201) defines an annular disc-shaped portion (202) having an upper surface (203), a lower surface (204), an outer peripheral edge (205) and an inner edge (206). Said inner edge (206) bounds a circular opening (207) extending the full height of said annular disc shaped portion (202) between said upper and lower surfaces (203, 204). The annular main body (201) further defines an annular collar portion (208) upstanding from the upper surface (203) of said disc shaped portion (202) adjacent said peripheral edge (205) of said disc shaped portion (202), said annular collar portion (208) extending height-wise from a base end (209) joined to said disc-shaped portion (202) to an upper end (210), and width-wise from an inner edge (211) to an outer peripheral edge (212), said inner edge (211) of said annular collar portion (208) bounding a circular opening (213) extending the full height of said annular collar portion (208). The annular main body (201) also further defines an annular flange portion (216) extending height-wise downwardly from the lower surface (204) of said disc-shaped portion (202) from a base end (217) joined to said lower surface (204) of said disc-shaped portion (202) to a distal end (218), and width wise from an inner edge (219) to an outer edge (220).
