Tuned absorber assembly
A drive shaft assembly includes an elongate member and a tuned absorber assembly. The elongate member has an exterior surface that is disposed about an axis. The tuned absorber assembly includes a mass and a sleeve. The mass is at least partially disposed about the exterior surface. The sleeve extends between a first sleeve end and a second sleeve end. The sleeve is disposed about the mass and spaces the mass apart from the exterior surface of the elongate member.
Dispenser for coil adhesive weights with dual loading system
A device for delivery of balancing weights for wheels, comprises a material storage, a feeder and a partitioning unit. In some embodiments, the feeder has a cylinder segment shaped feeder head, linearly moveable between a loading position and a delivery position. In some embodiments, the partitioning unit comprises a transport means for transport of a belt of balancing weight segments and a belt cutter for making a balancing weight by cutting at least one or multiple sections from the belt. In some embodiments, the partitioning unit further comprises two loaders for each holding a balancing weight when the feeder is not in a loading position and loading it on the feeder when the feeder is in the loading position.
High efficiency centrifugal impeller with balancing weights
A balancing weight mountable within a balance hole of a rotary component includes a cylindrical body having a desired weight. An opening is formed in a portion of the body to define a hollow passageway and a mechanism couples the cylindrical body within an interior of the balance hole.
Tire sensor mounting assembly, vehicle wheel balancer, combination tire sensor mounting assembly and wheel balancer, method for mounting a tire sensor to a vehicle part, and method for balancing a vehicle wheel
A combination vehicle tire sensor assembly and in-tire wheel balancer is adapted for residing inside a pneumatic tire mounted on a wheel rim of a motor vehicle. The combination includes a flexible mounting cable secured to the sensor assembly, and adapted for extending circumferentially within an annular space formed between the tire and wheel rim. A counterweight is secured to the mounting cable inside the pneumatic tire a spaced distance from the sensor assembly. A substantially hollow balancer belt resides inside the pneumatic tire adjacent the sensor assembly and counterweight, and defines a circumferentially-extending exterior groove designed for receiving and locating the mounting cable, and a circumferentially-extending interior cavity adapted for loosely containing a wheel-balancing medium.
TORSIONAL VIBRATION DAMPER
A rotor assembly has a drive shaft and a bladed rotor mounted to the drive shaft for rotation therewith. A dampening material is bonded to the rotor at a location where there is torsional strain energy present. Shear forces in the damping material are used to convert the torsional strain energy into heat energy, thereby providing torsional vibration damping.

Shaft assembly with internal balance weight formed at least partly by an ultraviolet light-curable resin
A shaft assembly that includes a shaft, which has a wall with an interior surface, a universal joint member, which is coupled to an end of the shaft and a balance weight that is received in the shaft and fixedly coupled to the interior surface. The balance weight includes an ultraviolet light-curable or light-cured resin.
