VEHICLE WITH PNEUMATICALLY SUSPENDED OPERATOR COMPARTMENT
An overland vehicle is provided which includes a chassis with a roll-over protection structure, a powertrain configured to generate power to drive the overland vehicle, a first suspension system configured as a chassis to ground suspension system, and an operator compartment. The vehicle may also include a second suspension system configured to pneumatically suspend the operator compartment within the chassis, where the second suspension system includes a plurality of pneumatic couplers, including at least a first pneumatic coupler suspending the operator compartment to the chassis along a first vector extending in a first direction, and a second countering pneumatic coupler suspending the operator compartment to the chassis along a second vector extending in a second direction, where the second direction is generally opposite the first direction. In another embodiment, the second suspension system may include a plurality of spaced apart pneumatic couplers, including at least a first pneumatic coupler suspending the operator compartment to a first side of the chassis, and a second pneumatic coupler suspending the operator compartment to a second side of the chassis.
Balance gear with a shot damper
An engine system has a balance gear coupled to a balance shaft. The balance gear is formed by a disc having first and second opposite sides extending radially outwardly to a circumferential edge defining a series of teeth, with a first sector of the disc having a first aperture therethrough, and a second opposite sector of the disc having a second aperture therethrough. A damper is positioned within the second aperture and extends across the disc. The damper has a container enclosing a plurality of particles therein. Opposed ends of the container are outboard of the first and second sides of the disc. A method of forming the balance gear is also provided.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DAMPING A LATERAL PENDULAR MOTION OF A SINGLE-TRACK MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for damping a lateral pendular motion of a single-track motor vehicle having a front wheel, where the presence of a pendular motion is ascertained, and the moment of inertia of the front wheel is increased as a function of it.
SUPPORT FOR HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE, AND HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
The present disclosure provides a support for household appliance and a household appliance. The support for household appliance comprises a hydraulic plate; a sheath, which is fixedly connected with the hydraulic plate; a regulating element, which is arranged in the sheath and is axially movable relative to the sheath; an accommodation chamber, which is formed by the hydraulic plate, the sheath and the regulating element; a hydraulic medium, which is arranged in the accommodation chamber and is compressed/expands depending on pressure changes to drive the regulating element to axially move in the sheath for leveling; a communicating device, which enables at least two supports for household appliance to communicate with each other to allow the hydraulic medium to flow between the supports for household appliance; a one-way valve structure is arranged in the communicating device for conducting the hydraulic medium to flow in one direction.
NOVEL LOCKING ASSEMBLY FOR A STREET VEHICLE AND A HELMET, AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Movement device for moving an object along a movement surface, including: a percussion mass and suspension device, connecting the percussion mass to object, moving to move the percussion mass repeatedly along a closed path, a head, constrained to the object, to interfere with the closed path, the percussion mass interfering with the head along an advance line and direction, connection device for connecting the object to the movement surface to create friction between the object and movement surface. The percussion mass interfering with the head causes a reaction force exceeding the friction, capable of moving the object relative to the movement surface. The percussion mass not interfering with the head along the closed path does not cause reaction forces exceeding the friction, capable of moving the object relative to the movement surface.
Person-conveying device with an adaptive vibration-damping system, and method for reducing building vibrations transmitted to person-conveying devices
A person-conveying device that connects a first story of a building to a second story of the building may include a supporting framework with a carrier element and an adaptive vibration-damping system. The carrier element allows the person-conveying device to be connected to the building via the adaptive vibration-damping system. A method for reducing the transmission of vibrations from the building to the person-conveying device that is connected to the building may involve the adaptive vibration damping system. Vibration data may be detected outside the person-conveying device, and the detected vibration data may be evaluated. Vibration damping of the vibration-damping system may then be adapted based on the evaluated vibration data.
Damping valve mechanism
A damping valve device includes an actuator which carries out an axial displacing movement on a sliding sleeve. The sliding sleeve, along with a fixed valve carrier, forms a slide valve which has two flow directions. The slide sleeve is impinged with damping medium on a front side and on a rear side in an incident flow direction, and the front side of the slide sleeve and rear side of the slide sleeve are impinged hydraulically in parallel by damping medium during the incident flow.
Tuned Mass-Spring Damper for Electronics Enclosure
An equipment rack withstands seismic events using a tuned mass damper. The tuned mass damper is adapted for rack mounting to a shelf, thus allowing the tuned mass damper to be retrofitted into existing rack installations. The tuned mass damper also has variable and/or swappable features to suit the weight, stiffness, and other properties of the equipment rack.
Composite balance ring and washing machine
The present disclosure discloses a composite balance ring and a washing machine. The balance ring is internally hollow to form a chamber. The chamber is horizontally provided with a partition plate which divides the chamber into upper and lower chambers. The upper and lower chambers communicate through an overflow structure and a backflow structure, and the chamber is filled with balancing liquid with a level close to the partition plate. During the dehydration process of the washing machine, the balancing liquid in the lower chamber overflows into the upper chamber by a low overflow speed through a narrow gap that forms the overflow structure, and the balancing liquid remaining in the lower chamber provided with a counterweight force in the inner tub, so that the increase of eccentric displacement of the inner tub due to eccentric flowing of the balancing liquid is avoided.
