Laundry treating apparatus
A laundry treating apparatus includes a main body, a washing tub, and a suspension assembly. The suspension assembly includes a support rod, an elastic member, and a damper. The damper includes a cap, a housing, and a friction member. The friction member is disposed in both the cap and the housing, and is configured to press the support rod through the coupling of the female coupling portion and the male coupling portion.
LOSS PREVENTION DEVICE TRIGGERED BY FREEFALL
Disclosure are various embodiments of a loss prevention device responsive to freefall. The loss prevention device can be integrated into any object and incorporates physical, mechanical, and/or electrical modules configured to prevent the likelihood that dropping the object causes injury to persons or damage to structures in the vicinity. Such modules may constitute continuous or discrete, static or dynamic portions of the housing of the loss prevention device. Other modules may incorporate electromechanical components that allow for effective manipulation of the motion of the loss prevention device and the coupled object. The device can be configured to deploy said modules upon detecting freefall. In some cases, the device incorporate a release mechanism that facilitates said deployment.
ENGINE MOUNT, SYSTEM AND METHOD
An engine mount includes a center pin, a main rubber element, and a housing. In embodiments, the main rubber element may include at least one joining plate with at least one tab, and may be configured to at least partially encapsulate the center pin and the at least one joining plate. The housing may be configured to receive and/or engage the main rubber element including the center pin and the at least one joining plate. The main rubber element may be secured to the housing via the at least one joining plate and/or the at least one tab.
Pendular damping device
A pendulum damping device incorporated into a drive train of a motor vehicle, notably into a clutch, includes a support capable of rotational movement about an axis of rotation, a pendulum assembly of which the movement with respect to the support is guided by at least one rolling member, and an end-stop damping system borne directly by the pendulum assembly and able at least to damp the coming of said pendulum assembly into a position of abutment against the support of said pendulum assembly during the radial fall and/or saturation of this said pendulum assembly. The pendulum assembly also includes at least one radial protuberance designed to pass at least partially through an opening made in the end-stop damping system.
Damping force generation device for vehicle
A damping force generation device for a vehicle includes a shock absorber including a cylinder and a piston. The shock absorber is coupled to a vehicle body, a wheel carrier, and the like at a rod part of the piston and the cylinder, respectively, and is configured to generate a damping force due to a flow resistance when oil passes through an orifice formed in the piston. Each of self-discharge type charge eliminators is fixed to a surface of a specific member being at least one of a component of the shock absorber or an auxiliary member connected to the component. The charge eliminator reduces positive electric charge that is charged to the specific member, to thereby reduce a charge amount of the oil.
CYLINDER ROD
The cylinder rod of a hydraulic cylinder includes a body portion having a bar shape, and a head portion arranged at a longitudinal end of the body portion. The body portion has a coating formed on its outer peripheral surface. The coating includes, in terms of area ratio in cross section, not less than 56.1% and not more than 84.4% of a chromium carbide phase, with the remainder consisting of a nickel-based alloy phase and an oxide phase. The area ratio of the chromium carbide phase may be 61.7% or more.
Coupling system for reducing fatigue and dynamic amplification of loads in objects
A coupling system can include an energy transfer device and a load mitigation system. The energy transfer device can include a shaft, gear, chain or piston-cylinder arrangement to transfer the energy from a power supply to an object to be moved. The load mitigation system can be used to limit or prevent the transfer of forces from the object to the drive unit as a result of external loads being applied to the object. The load mitigation system can be pre-loaded such that external loads on the object having an excessive impulsive or resonant cyclic force greater than the pre-load force on the load mitigation system are reduced and only partially transferred to the energy transfer device and power supply. The load mitigation system can dampen both resonant loads and impulsive impact loads occurring at the object thereby preventing damage and extending life.
CONTAINING A FIELD OF FLYWHEEL ENERGY STORAGE UNITS
A number of flywheel units are arranged in a geometric pattern. Each of the flywheel units is enclosed in a containment unit. The containment unit includes a cylindrical tube, a cover, a bottom support, resting on the ground, on which the containment unit is mounted, and a fill medium surrounding each containment unit. The containment unit may also include a horizontal plate, mounted to the base of tube, which extends outward or radially from the base of tube a pre-determined length. In this case, the fill medium rests directly on top of the portion of the plate that extends outward from tube.
Elastomeric body for vibration damping
An elastomeric body for vibration damping and/or suspension, has a base body and a flame-retarding coating which covers at least one section of the base body, wherein the flame-retarding coating has at least two intumescent fire protection systems and the first fire protection system contains expandable graphite which comprises at least a first fraction with an average grain size of more than 180 μm and at least a second fraction with an average grain size of less than 180 μm, and the second fire protection system forms a support structure in the expanded state, which structure at least partially fixes the expanded graphite in the expanded state.
