Bracket for attachment with a hydraulic damper assembly and a method of joining a bracket and a hydraulic damper assembly

A bracket comprises a body extending along a center axis between a first end and a second end. The body defines a first groove and a second groove. The first groove, located at the first end and flaring radially outwardly, presents a first slanted surface. The second groove, located at the second end and flaring radially outwardly, presents a second slanted surface. A pair of coupling members including a first and a second coupling member are respectively located in the first and second grooves for engagement with a housing of a hydraulic damper assembly. The first end includes at least one first deformation for retaining the first coupling member. The second end includes at least one second deformation for retaining the second coupling member. A hydraulic damper assembly including the bracket and a method of joining the bracket and the hydraulic damper assembly are also disclosed herein.

Flywheel lock

A universal flywheel locking device which is configured to fit flywheels with a variety of sizes and tooth patterns. The device may feature an arched locking member and two guide members attached to the sides of the locking member. The locking member is configured to wedge the device between a fixed feature or bolt and a flywheel so as to prevent rotation of the flywheel. The first end of the locking member may be configured to fit within a gap between two of a plurality of teeth of the flywheel so as to lock the flywheel.

DIAPHRAGM HOLDER FOR AN OLEO-PNEUMATIC-TYPE SHOCK ABSORBER

A diaphragm holder for an oleo-pneumatic-type shock absorber includes a tubular body made of thermoplastic material, having one end arranged to hold a diaphragm and an opposite end defining an arched bottom for withstanding pressure forces. An insert is housed in the bottom of the tubular body and is arranged to mechanically reinforce the bottom and to distribute the pressure forces evenly.

MODULAR BUMP BUFFER FOR VEHICLE

A dual mass flywheel coupling member for selectively coupling a primary mass and a secondary mass of a dual mass flywheel, the coupling member comprising: a central aperture for enabling axial alignment with the primary mass and the secondary mass; at least one resiliently deformable member, the resiliently deformable member comprising a fixing point attachable to the primary mass to rigidly couple one end of the resiliently deformable member to the primary mass; and at least one engagement feature coupled to the coupling member at a point remote from the fixing point, wherein the engagement feature is configured to engage the secondary mass upon deformation of the resiliently deformable member in an installed configuration.

STABILIZER BAR BUSHING
20230076305 · 2023-03-09 ·

A cantilever bushing assembly anchors the central torsional section of a vehicular stabilizer bar in a cantilevered manner relative to a vehicle understructure. The bushing assembly comprises a bracket having a pocket centered on a pocket axis that coincides with a longitudinal axis of the stabilizer bar. Two plastic outer cans are cooperatively slidable into the pocket. Each outer can has an anti-rotation lobe received in respective keyways formed in the pocket. A rubber buffer is bonded to each outer can. Each rubber buffer has a frusto-cylindrical inner bearing surface that forms an arcuate portion of an interior bushing diameter. The inner bearing surface is post-vulcanization bonded to the central torsional section of the stabilizer bar. An arched rate plate is embedded within each rubber buffer. The rubber buffers compress in the area of the inner bearing surfaces and constrict about the central torsional section of the stabilizer bar.
