TOP CAP ASSEMBLY FOR SHOCK ABSORBER
A top cap assembly for a shock absorber includes a cap which has a first locking member connected to the center thereof, and an inner plate which has a second locking member connected to the center thereof. A first section of a piston rod extends through the first passage of the first locking member and is restricted by the first ridge of the first passage. A second section of the piston rod extends through the second passage of the second locking member and is restricted by the second ridge of the second passage. When installing the top cap assembly to different shock absorbers with different diameters, only the first locking member and the second locking member need to be replaced, and the cap and the inner plate do not need to be replaced.

A guide unit closes the outer tube and the inner tube in each case at a first end. A bottom unit has a bottom valve. The bottom unit is arranged at a second end of the inner tube. The outer tube and the inner tube are deformed plastically, such that the guide unit is connected in a positively locking manner to the outer tube and the inner tube, and the inner tube being deformed plastically, such that the bottom unit is connected in a positively locking manner to the inner tube, and/or the outer tube and the inner tube is connected in an integrally joined manner to the guide unit, and the inner tube being connected in an integrally joined manner to the bottom unit.
Systems for damping a solar photovoltaic array tracker
Solar tracker systems include a torque tube, a column supporting the torque tube, a solar panel connected to the torque tube, and a damper assembly. The damper assembly includes a first end pivotably connected to the torque tube and a second end pivotably connected to the column. The damper assembly further includes an outer shell, a piston within and moveable relative to the outer shell, a first chamber wall and a second chamber wall within the outer shell at least partially defining a chamber, and a valve within the chamber. The valve includes a first axial end defining a slot and is biased to a first position within the chamber in which the first axial end is spaced from the first chamber wall. The valve is moveable within the chamber from the first position to a second position to passively change a flow resistance of the damper assembly.
Damper device
A damper device includes: a first rotating body rotating around a rotation shaft and receiving power transmitted from a flywheel; a second rotating body including a first plate receiving the power transmitted from the first rotating body and a second plate disposed to face the first plate and rotating integrally with the first plate; a third rotating body rotating relative to the second rotating body around the rotation shaft; a fastening body integrating the first and second plates at a position radially spaced apart from a position where the power is transmitted from the first rotating body to the first plate; and an elastic mechanism elastically interconnecting the second and third rotating bodies in a rotation direction. The first plate is provided with a restricting portion restricting relative rotation of the third rotating body beyond a predetermined torsion angle.
Dual mass flywheel coupling member
A dual mass flywheel coupling member for selectively coupling a primary mass and a secondary mass of a dual mass flywheel, the coupling member comprising: a central aperture for enabling axial alignment with the primary mass and the secondary mass; at least one resiliently deformable member, the resiliently deformable member comprising a fixing point attachable to the primary mass to rigidly couple one end of the resiliently deformable member to the primary mass; and at least one engagement feature coupled to the coupling member at a point remote from the fixing point, wherein the engagement feature is configured to engage the secondary mass upon deformation of the resiliently deformable member in an installed configuration.
Damping valve for a vibration damper
A damping valve having a damping valve body with at least one flow channel for damping medium. A valve rod is arranged in the flow channel. The valve rod cooperates with a valve disk and a valve seat surface. The valve rod carries a further valve disk that cooperates with a second valve seat surface. The first valve disk together with the first valve seat surface forms a first partial valve having a first permanently open pilot orifice cross section, and the second valve disk together with the second valve seat surface forms a second partial valve having a second pilot orifice cross section, and a shuttle valve is formed which opens one partial valve and closes the other partial valve depending on the flow direction.
CRANKSHAFT HAVING AT LEAST ONE COUNTERWEIGHT
The present disclosure shows a crankshaft having at least one counterweight that is preferably screwed to the crankshaft via at least two screws, with the counterweight having a contact surface at which it contacts a counter-contact surface of the crankshaft. In this respect, the position of the counterweight at the crankshaft is fixed via at least one positioning element independent of the screw connection.
SYSTEMS FOR DAMPING A SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC ARRAY TRACKER
A solar tracker system includes a torque tube, a solar panel assembly attached to the torque tube, a housing defining a chamber and a fluid passageway extending from the chamber, and an active lock connected to a seal configured to prevent a flow path of fluid while in a sealed state and allow the flow path of fluid in an unsealed state. The system further includes a controller in communication with the torque tube and the active lock. The controller is programmed to receive a command to place the solar panel assembly in a stowed position, instruct the torque tube to rotate the panel assembly to a stowed angle corresponding to the stowed position, monitor a current angle of the panel assembly, compare the current angle to the stowed angle, and instruct the seal to transition to the sealed state when the current angle is equal to the stowed angle.
