End member assemblies as well as gas spring assemblies, suspension systems and methods including same
An end member assembly can include a first end member section and a second end member section that together form an end member volume. A partition section is provided separately and is disposed within the end member volume to separate the end member volume into at least two volume portions. At least one passage extends through the partition section and at least one control device is disposed in fluid communication along the passage. The control device substantially fluidically isolates the two volume portions under conditions of use below a predetermined differential pressure threshold. The control device permits fluid communication between the two volume portions under conditions of use in which the predetermined pressure threshold is exceeded. Gas spring assemblies including such an end member assembly as well as suspension systems and methods of manufacture are also included.
Front fork
A front fork includes a fork main body, a damper cartridge, and a closing member. The damper cartridge includes a cylinder, a piston mounted on a piston rod, and a rod guide which guides the piston rod and to which a fluid filling port that allows the outside of the cylinder to communicate with the fluid chamber is provided. The closing member is provided on the rod guide and closes the fluid filling port.
Anti-vibration device
An anti-vibration device (1) includes a tubular first attachment member (10), a second attachment member (20), an elastic body (70), and a separating member (50) that separates a liquid chamber in the first attachment member into a main liquid chamber (80) and a secondary liquid chamber (90). A tapered surface (502) decreasing in diameter towards another side in the axial direction is formed on an end on the other side in the axial direction of an outer circumferential surface of the separating member, a bend portion (101) bent to follow the tapered surface is formed on an end on the other side in the axial direction of the first attachment member, and an end (301) on the outer circumferential side of a diaphragm (30) is sandwiched between the tapered surface and the bend portion.
ROTATING THREE WAY VALVE FOR SWITCHABLE AIR SPRINGS
A valve assembly for an air spring includes a body having an opened end disposed in communication with a first tank and a closed end. The body defines a cavity separated by a divider into an upper and a lower portion. The body defines at least one upper orifice in communication with the cavity and a second tank; and at least one lower orifice in communication with the cavity and a third tank. An actuator is disposed in communication with the first, the second, and the third tank. The actuator is rotatable from a first position wherein the actuator is in communication with the first tank alone to a second position allowing communication between the first and the second tank, a third position allowing communication between the first and the third tank, and a fourth position allowing communication between the first, the second, and the third tank.
Compressible fluid device comprising safety device and method of protecting a compressible fluid device
The present disclosure provides a compressible fluid device (1), such as a gas spring. The device comprises a casing (11) defining a compression chamber (12), a piston (15), which is movable in the chamber (12), and a safety member (2) placed in such a manner as to be struck by the piston (15) in the event of the piston overstriking, whereby at least some of the compressible fluid is evacuated from the compression chamber (12). The device further comprises a pre-strike member (25), that is arranged to be struck before the safety member (2) is struck, such that the safety member (2) is only struck once a predetermined overstroke force has been achieved.
Actuator and a bow
A pneumatic actuator having therein a venting element and a porous element, compression and elongation of the actuator creating an air flow in the venting element and porous element to output lubricant as a mist toward a sliding interface of the actuator. A bow using the actuator and a bow having a double string preventing sideward movement when launching an arrow. A compound bow having limbs with multiple rotatable elements and an actuator rotating such elements to launch an arrow.
HYDRAULIC DAMPER
A hydraulic damper comprises an outer cylinder, and an inner cylinder slidably mounted within the outer cylinder for movement relative to the outer cylinder along a longitudinal axis. The inner cylinder has a circumferential wall circumscribing a bellows assembly. The bellows assembly comprises a first bellows section, a second bellows section, a damping plate attached to and separating the first and second bellows sections, a first closure element closing an end of the first bellows section opposite the damping plate to define a first chamber, and a second closure element closing an end of the second bellows section opposite the damping plate to define a second chamber. The first closure element is attached to the inner cylinder for movement therewith relative to the outer cylinder. The second closure element is also attached to the inner cylinder for movement therewith relative to the outer cylinder
BACK STOP FOR CRANE
A back stop for a crane which eliminates operator's discomfort and adverse effects on surrounding environment due to generation of abnormal noise and enables greasing work to be facilitated. A back stop includes an outer casing having a base end portion turnably connected to a boom or a crane main body and an opening portion opened in the outer casing front end portion; an inner casing having a base end portion turnably connected to the crane main body or the boom and having a front end portion side slidably fitted into the outer case through the opening portion; and a greasing tube arranged in the outer casing or the inner casing. An inlet of the greasing tube is arranged outside of the outer casing or outside of the inner casing on the base end portion side on which the greasing tube is arranged. A discharge port of the greasing tube is attached to a front end portion of the inner casing.
METHOD FOR FILLING LIQUID INTO LIQUID-FILLED RUBBER AND DEAERATOR FOR LIQUID
A method for filling a liquid into a liquid-filled rubber, the method includes a deaerating step of deaerating a liquid under normal temperature, a cooling step of cooling the deaerated liquid, a pouring step of pouring the cooled liquid into a liquid chamber of a rubber member and a sealing step of sealing the liquid chamber in an atmosphere under reduced pressure to seal the liquid in the liquid chamber.
METHOD OF SERVICING AN AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR SHOCK ABSORBING STRUT
A method of servicing a shock absorber of an aircraft landing gear shock absorbing strut, the shock absorber including a sealed, variable volume chamber containing a liquid and a gas in fluid communication with one another, the method comprising: using a mixer to mix the liquid and the gas within the chamber until the liquid is uniformly saturated with the gas; and subsequently performing one or more servicing actions.
