Suspension Pre-Load Adjustment System
A suspension system for a vehicle and method for operating the same includes a shock absorber housing having a longitudinal axis, a spring disposed around the shock absorber housing, a retainer collar disposed around the shock absorber housing and an actuator engaged to the retainer collar. The actuator moves at least a portion of the retainer collar to move the spring in a direction corresponding the longitudinal axis. A switch generates a ride height position signal. A controller is coupled to the actuator and the switch. The controller controls a position of the actuator in response to the ride height position signal.
ELECTROMAGNETIC MULTISTAGE ADJUSTABLE VARIABLE INERTANCE AND VARIABLE DAMPING DEVICE
The present disclosure discloses an electromagnetic multistage adjustable variable inertance and variable damping device. Iron cores are magnetized by winding electromagnetic coil windings outside the iron cores and applying an electric current action to the electromagnetic coil windings, and air gap magnetic fields are generated by the magnetized iron cores and permanent magnets in air gaps to cause the variation of shear damping forces between a driving shear plate and magnet yokes and between driven shear plates and magnet yokes, which avoids that the mechanical properties of an inerter cannot be fully utilized due to the friction caused by mutual contact among parts, thereby realizing multistage real-time adjustability of an instance coefficient and a damping coefficient of the device.
LIQUID GAS SUPPORTING SHOCK ABSORBER AND VEHICLE USING SAME
A liquid gas supporting shock absorber. An oil path of the liquid gas supporting shock absorber, mainly composed of a liquid gas accumulator (4) and a single-acting hydraulic cylinder (7), is divided into a liquid inlet oil path (9) flowing into the single-acting hydraulic cylinder (7) and a liquid outlet oil path (6) flowing out of the single-acting hydraulic cylinder (7). A supporting force value of the liquid gas supporting shock absorber on an item supported thereby is measured using a force measuring element. A control component (1) compares the supporting force value to a set force value or a gravity value of the item supported by the supporting shock absorber, and the damping of the liquid inlet oil path (9) and the liquid outlet oil path (6) of the liquid gas supporting shock absorber is controlled by means of a mechanical, hydraulic or electronic control mode according to the result of the comparison, so as to adjust the supporting force value of the supporting shock absorber, so that the supporting force value of the supporting shock absorber is equal to or close to the set force value or the gravity value of the item supported by the supporting shock absorber.
WIND POWER GENERATION APPARATUS, TOWER AND METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING TOWER SHADOW EFFECT OF TOWER
A wind power generation apparatus, a tower and a method for suppressing a tower shadow effect of the tower. The tower is provided with suction through holes extending through a circumferential wall thereof, and the suction through holes are distributed in a circumferential direction of the tower; the tower is further provided with a suction apparatus, and the suction apparatus can perform suction to the suction through holes from outside to inside. With the tower and the method, when the suction through holes at a windward side are suctioned, the adverse influence of the tower shadow effect can be weakened or eliminated, a service life of a pitch varying bearing can be prolonged, a noise can be reduced and a wind energy utilization coefficient can be improved. When the suction through holes at a position of a bypassing flow detachment are suctioned, vortex-induced vibrations can also be suppressed.
A SHOCK ABSORBER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A DAMPING FLOW IN A SHOCK ABSORBER
A shock absorber and method of controlling a shock absorber, wherein the shock absorber comprises damper body having an inner tube and an outer tube and a piston rod having a main piston arrangement arranged inside the inner tube. The shock absorber further comprises two separate electrical continuously controlled valves (CES1, CES2), one for compression and one for rebound flow, arranged with passive valves coupled in series with and downstream of the electronically controlled valves and with a communication chamber coupling these valves to a pressurizing chamber.
MODULAR ELECTRONIC DAMPING CONTROL
A modular electronic damping control system is described and includes a damping component located at a vehicle suspension location. The modular electronic damping control system also includes a control system configured to control the damping component, and determine the type of damping component present. Also, the control system is configured to automatically tune a vehicle's suspension based on the type of damping component present, and automatically monitor the damping component and determine when a change has been made to the damping component so that the control system can then automatically re-tune the vehicle's suspension based on the change to the damping component.
HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBER AND SADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
A hydraulic shock absorber includes an enclosure member. The enclosure member has an inflow path which guides oil from the outside to the inside. The inflow path is arranged so that an axis of the inflow path deviates from a central axis of a rod.
Damping valve arrangement
A damping valve arrangement of a vibration damper for a motor vehicle includes a damping valve body having a longitudinal axis A and a throughflow passage is covered by at least one valve disk, a spring arrangement has at least a first substantially disk-shaped spring element; and a force transmission disk arranged between the valve disk and the first spring element so as to be axially displaceable coaxial to the damping valve body. The force transmission disk has a first surface facing the first spring element and comprising a first contact ring with a first diameter, which first contact ring is axially elevated above the first surface, and a second surface opposite the first surface, which second surface faces the valve disk and comprises a second contact ring with a second diameter, which second contact ring is axially elevated above the second surface.
DYNAMIC BALANCING ASSEMBLIES AND LAUNDRY APPARATUSES HAVING ONE OR MORE CLOCKSPRINGS
A dynamic balancing assembly for a laundry apparatus includes a control unit, one or more counterweight devices, and one or more clocksprings. The one or more counterweight devices are configured to be orbited about a primary rotation axis of the laundry apparatus to counteract a load imbalance in a drum of the laundry apparatus. The one or more clocksprings communicatively couple each of the one or more counterweight devices to the control unit.
VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE AND ELEVATOR APPARATUS
A vibration damping device for reducing vibration of an elevator rope includes a displacement amplifier arranged around a region from a first portion of the elevator rope drawn and a second portion of the elevator rope drawn from an opposite side of one or more sheaves in parallel with the first portion. The displacement amplifier is configured to amplify a displacement of each of the first portion and the second portion of the elevator rope.
