A dynamic damper includes a tubular member, a mass body, a protruding section, an elastic coupling section, a fastening member, and a projecting section. The protruding section is positioned toward the second end of the tubular member with respect to the projecting section. The projecting section and the protruding section overlap in the axial direction of the tubular member at any position reached by relatively rotating the mass body around the axial center of the tubular member with respect to the tubular member.
Fast acting compressible stop
A compressible stop for use in a crane has a housing, a rod slidably mounted within the housing, a floating piston, and a valve assembly. The floating piston divides the housing into a gas portion biasing the floating piston towards an end of the housing and a liquid portion containing a hydraulic fluid. The valve assembly divides the liquid portion into a support portion and a reserve portion. The valve assembly includes a check valve allowing a liquid to flow from the reserve portion into the support portion, a pressure sensitive valve inhibiting the liquid from flowing from the support portion into the reserve portion unless the pressure is above a threshold pressure, and a frangible divider configured to rupture when the liquid pressure exceeds a rupture pressure.

A gas cylinder actuator with safety device, which comprises: a tubular containment jacket, two opposing heads for closing the tubular jacket, with corresponding sealing elements between the heads and the jacket, a first head provided with a through hole for the passage of a stem-piston, and a second head provided with a gas filling duct, a stem-piston, between the tubular jacket, the heads and the stem-piston there being a chamber for pressurized gas; the second head has a seat for the accommodation of a flow control element of the gas filling duct and corresponding sealing means, the flow control element comprising a tab for controlling a retracting stroke of the stem-piston, the control tab protruding from a body that has a lightened portion for triggering a controlled fracture or deformation in the event the control tab is crushed by the stem-piston.

An improved shock isolating mounting comprising at least three substantially U-shaped leaf spring members, each leaf spring member comprising at least two leafs arranged to define a space therebetween. In one arrangement, the respective at least three substantially U-shaped leaf spring members are arranged in an array having a substantially equal angular spacing between adjacent spring members.
