The piston is movable in a cylinder covered by a cylinder head forming a combustion chamber and gas exchange valves are arranged in the cylinder head, which are actuated by at least one camshaft, which is connected to a gear train gear wheel situated on the crankshaft via a differential gear. A mass differential gear including two balance shafts is present. The mass differential gear is situated in a gear frame and attached to the crankcase below the crankshaft and driven by a mass shaft drive gear situated on the crankshaft, which is arranged axially essentially next to the gear train gear wheel/idler gear. The gear train gear wheel/idler gear is arranged on the main bearing cover.

SHAFT VIBRATION ABSORBER

A shaft vibration absorber for absorbing vibrations of a shaft includes an elastomer body that is reached through by a central longitudinal centre axis. In embodiments, the elastomer body includes holding geometries that protrude in the radial direction and extend in the longitudinal direction for pressing the shaft vibration absorber to the shaft. The holding geometries may be arranged in each case in two first angle windows that lie opposite one another with regard to the longitudinal centre axis with a width of in each case at most 90°. With embodiments, the shaft vibration absorber can configure a radial pressing force of the shaft along a first tuning axis that runs in the radial direction, and the radial pressing force may be greater than a pressing force in a spatial direction that differs therefrom and runs in the radial direction.

Circular force generator devices (100), systems, and methods for damping vibrations which include two complementary rotor assemblies (110, 120) that are rotatable together about a common shaft (102) but that have an adjustable rotational position (P1, P2) with respect to one another such that a significant reduction in rotor inertia and bearing drag relative to conventional CFG configurations is provided. The present architecture creates virtually zero rotating moment.

Damper device
11661971 · 2023-05-30 · ·

A damper device includes first and second rotors, a first pre-damper, and a first main elastic member. The second rotor includes a hub and a flange. The first pre-damper elastically couples the hub and the flange in a rotational direction, and is actuated in a first range of torsion angle between the first and second rotors. The first main elastic member elastically couples the first and second rotors in the rotational direction, and is actuated in a greater second range of torsion angle. The first pre-damper includes first and second subordinate elastic members. The first subordinate elastic member is compressed in a neutral state, and urges the flange to a first side in the rotational direction with respect to the hub. The second subordinate elastic member is compressed in the neutral state, and urges the flange to a second side in the rotational direction with respect to the hub.

Electromagnetic multistage adjustable variable inertance and variable damping device

The present disclosure discloses an electromagnetic multistage adjustable variable inertance and variable damping device. Iron cores are magnetized by winding electromagnetic coil windings outside the iron cores and applying an electric current action to the electromagnetic coil windings, and air gap magnetic fields are generated by the magnetized iron cores and permanent magnets in air gaps to cause the variation of shear damping forces between a driving shear plate and magnet yokes and between driven shear plates and magnet yokes, which avoids that the mechanical properties of an inerter cannot be fully utilized due to the friction caused by mutual contact among parts, thereby realizing multistage real-time adjustability of an instance coefficient and a damping coefficient of the device.

Rotary damper

Provided is a rotary damper having a first valve provided in a first oil passage, the rotary damper including an oil chamber filled with oil; a vane located in the oil chamber; a groove which is formed in the vane and functions as a valve box of the first valve; a valve body of the first valve which moves while being in contact with a bottom surface of the groove; and an elastic body which applies elasticity to the valve body, and causes the valve body to come into contact with a wall surface of the oil chamber when the oil does not flow, in which the bottom surface of the groove is a slope, and thereby the valve body which is in contact with the wall surface when receiving oil pressure from one direction moves away from the wall surface when receiving the oil pressure from an opposite direction.
