Solenoid, solenoid valve, and damper
To provide a solenoid, a solenoid valve, and a damper in which when the amount of current supplied to the solenoid is small, the thrust of the solenoid to bias an object in one direction can be made small, and at the same time, even when the solenoid is not energized, the object can be biased in the same direction as that of the thrust. The solenoid includes a coil, a first movable iron core and a second movable iron core that are attracted in a direction away from each other by energizing the coil, a coil spring that biases the first movable iron core toward the second movable iron core, and a leaf spring that restricts the approach of the first movable iron core and the second movable iron core.
APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING A FLEXIBLE CONDUIT HAVING A RELEASABLE CONNECTOR
An apparatus for supporting a flexible conduit which includes a flexible member and a rigid member in fluid communication with the flexible member. The apparatus has a releasable connector and a shock absorber. The releasable connector has a first member and a second member. When a releasing force is applied to the flexible conduit, the releasable connector separates. The shock absorber is configured to absorb a load when the releasable connector separates. The shock absorber may include a compressible material that includes a metal, such as a metal foam or a corrugated metal sheet. The releasable connector and the shock absorber may be integrally formed together.
Damper assembly
A damper assembly includes a cylinder defining a chamber. The damper assembly includes a body supported by the cylinder and having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The body defines a passage extending from the first surface to the second surface. One of the first surface or the second surface define a slope at the passage. The damper assembly includes a check disc at the slope, the check disc selectively restricting fluid flow through the passage.
DAMPER FOR ELECTRIC POWER STEERING
A damper for electric power steering disposed on each of opposite ends of a worm shaft includes a rubber unit made of a rubber material, and a damper frame disposed on each of opposite sides of the rubber unit. The rubber unit includes a concave part which is concavely formed by forming a groove on an outer circumference thereof, and a convex part which is a convex remaining part.
Shock Absorber Assembly and Method
A shock absorber is provided having a cylinder, a piston rod, a piston body, and a valve. The valve also includes a first valve seat formed at least in part by the piston body and a second valve seat formed at least in part by the piston body. The valve includes a first circumferential valving element configured to mate and demate with a first valve seat and a second circumferential valving element having a distal end portion, a proximal end portion, and a medial spring interposed between the distal end portion and the proximal end portion, the distal end portion configured to mate and demate with the second valve seat. A pair of pump pistons are also provided to provide feedback rebound forces to the first and second valving elements through springs. Engagement surfaces are also provided between the first and second valving elements. A method is also provided.
SHOCK ABSORBER
A shock absorber includes a cylinder and a movable piston rod inserted into the cylinder to be movable to generate a damping force and having one end which extends to the outside of the cylinder. A seal member is fixed to the cylinder to be in sliding contact with the piston rod, and a friction member generates a frictional force with respect to relative movement between the cylinder and the piston rod. The friction member includes first and second friction parts, respectively fixed to one of the cylinder and the piston rod to be in sliding contact with the other of the cylinder and the piston rod. The second friction part is configured to start to slide with respect to relative movement of the cylinder and the piston rod at a timing different from that of the first friction part and generate an adjustable frictional force.
Additive manufactured symmetric low unbalance governor springs
A symmetric governor spring includes a first ring and a second ring coaxial with the first ring. The symmetric governor spring also includes two or more inclined braces connecting the first ring to the second ring. The first ring, the second ring, and the two or more inclined braces are integrally formed.
Variable-damping hydraulic shock-absorber for a vehicle suspension
A shock-absorber has a cylindrical body having an inner and an outer cylindrical tubes enclosing a reservoir chamber containing oil, and a rod. A piston divides the internal volume of the inner cylindrical tube into a rebound chamber and a compression chamber. The cylindrical body has an intermediate cylindrical tube enclosing with the inner cylindrical tube an intermediate chamber. A first electronically-controlled valve is arranged inside the inner cylindrical tube, so as to be drivingly connected to the rod, and hydraulically connected to the rebound chamber and to the compression chamber to adjust, during rebound phase, flow of the damping fluid from the rebound chamber to the compression chamber. A second electronically-controlled valve is arranged outside the cylindrical body and is hydraulically connected to the reservoir chamber and to the intermediate chamber to adjust, during compression phase, flow of the damping fluid from the compression chamber to the reservoir chamber via the intermediate chamber.
Damping force generating mechanism and pressure shock absorber
A damping force generating mechanism includes: a flow passage formation part that forms a flow passage through which a liquid flows; and a valve that is configured to control a flow of the liquid in the flow passage. The flow passage formation part includes a first seat part that is provided radially outward of a flow passage port of the flow passage, protrudes from the flow passage port and contacts the valve, a second seat part that is provided radially outward of the first seat part, protrudes from the flow passage port and contacts the valve, and a circulation part having an orifice that allows the liquid to flow from the flow passage port toward the second seat part in a state in which the valve is in contact with the first seat part.
Dynamic damper, headrest, and vehicular seat
A dynamic damper is provided which includes a weight, an elastic member that supports the weight so as to allow vibration, and a damper case that houses the weight and the elastic member, wherein the dynamic damper also includes corner part checking means for checking at least some corner parts among corner parts where at least one end face of the weight and first and second side faces that are each continuous from the one end face and are adjacent to each other meet. This enables the ease of assembly to be enhanced by enabling a corner part of a weight to be checked when assembling the weight into a damper case, and also enables the state in which the elastic member is mounted on an end part of the weight to be easily checked.
