FACE MASKS AND METHOD OF FABRICATING FACE MASK
According to various embodiments, a face mask includes a cover shield, an input and an output fan. The cover shield is shaped to cover nose and mouth of a wearer, and defines an inner space between the cover shield and the skin of the wearer. The input fan is coupled to the cover shield, and is configured to draw air from outside into the inner space. The output fan is coupled to the cover shield, and is configured to expel air out of the inner space.
Nostril-shielding nasal mask and associated method(s)
A nostril-shielding nasal mask includes a body including a top portion provided with an arcuate anterior section and arcuate posterior section engaged therewith, a hinge attached to the top portion, a bottom portion attached to the hinge and including a apertures aligned with the nostrils of the user, a scented and/or odor neutralizing air filter removably inserted into the bottom portion, and fasteners attached to the top portion and the bottom portion wherein the fasteners are configured to maintain the top portion and the bottom portion directly abutted against the nose bridge of the user and the nostrils of the user. The fasteners maintain the bottom portion at a first raised, non-operating position and a second lowered, operating position. The arcuate anterior section is engaged with the bottom portion when the bottom portion is disposed at the second lowered, operating position.
Face fit adjustment system
The invention relates to a face cover device providing a closure over a predetermined area of a face, having a functional part (2) and a face rest part (1) which are interconnected by one connecting section or a plurality of connecting sections (3, 8), characterized in that the one connecting section or at least one of the plurality of connecting sections is an adjustable connecting section (3) that allows for adjusting the position of the face rest part relative to the functional part.
Respiratory protection system for surgery
A respiratory protection system for use during surgery. The respiratory protection system may be a powered air purifying respirator, a supplied air respirator, or a self-contained breathing apparatus. The system may include an integrated surgical headlight and/or integrated surgical loupes. The system may further offer a face shield that fits very close to the wearer's eyes above the nasal dorsum, allowing use of the system while operating a microscope or the optics of a robotic surgery system.
PROTECTIVE MASK
Provided is a protective mask that is highly comfortable to wear. A protective mask includes: a face piece; an eyepiece attached to the face piece; and a lip extending from an outer circumference of the face piece in a direction crossing the face piece, in which at least a part of the lip includes a face contact portion capable of coming into contact with a face of a wearer, the face contact portion is formed from a silicone rubber, the face piece and the lip are formed from a gas impermeable material except for the face contact portion, and the gas impermeable material and the silicone rubber are joined together along the boundary between the gas impermeable material and the silicone rubber.
RETROFIT SENSOR MODULE FOR A PROTECTIVE HEAD TOP
The present disclosure includes a retrofit sensor module for use with a protective head top with a helmet and a visor. The sensor module includes a sensor housing and an attachment mechanism. The sensor housing encloses a head presence sensor to sense when the protective head top is being worn. The sensor housing also encloses a position sensor to sense the position of the visor relative to the helmet. The retrofit sensor module further comprises an attachment mechanism secured to the housing. The attachment mechanism mates with a first hinge component of a hinge assembly in the protective head top to removably install the sensor module into the protective head top, wherein the hinge assembly allows the visor to move relative to the helmet.
Decorative respirator and communication mask
A face mask is provided. The face mask comprises a decorative skin with a strap attached to an outer perimeter of the decorative skin. A respirator is attached to a connection piece and utilizes a filter. A speaker and a microphone are mounted to the face mask, and an electronic transceiver module is attached to the face mask. The strap secures the face mask to a head of the user such that an air-tight seal is formed in a worn position. The power source powers the speaker, the microphone, and the electronic transceiver module. The electronic transceiver module comprises a processor coupled to a computer memory and non-transitory computer readable media. The processor is configured to transmit and receive signals from the electronic transceiver module and the speaker or microphone.
FACE MASK FOR FIRE EVACUATION
Described is a face mask for fire evacuation, in which a case for the purpose of exhaust is integrated with a filter part of a respiratory mask to block toxic gases generated in the event of fire, thereby improving the convenience in respiration of a wearer, and protecting the respiratory system during the occurrence of toxic gases due to fire. The face mask for fire evacuation includes a liquid receptacle in the case, which allows liquid to be discharged from the liquid receptacle and absorbed into a filter member as needed when wearing the mask, thereby more effectively blocking the inhalation of toxic gases and enhancing safety.
Personal protection system
A personal protection system including a helmet worn on the head of a user and a hood removably coupled to the helmet. The hood may include a shell, a transparent face shield, and a mounting element configured to removably couple the hood to the helmet. The transparent face shield may include a first lens and a second lens. The first lens may be coupled to the shell, and the second lens may be coupled to the first lens. The second lens may be coupled to the first lens by one of an adhesive, heat staking or ultra-sonic welding. The hood may also include a mounting element configured to center the transparent face shield relative to a light assembly coupled to the helmet such that the light emitted from the light assembly passes through a u-shaped opening or slot defined by the second lens.
