FULL-FACED SHIELD
Illustrated views of an exemplary full-faced shield for protecting a person from microscopic virus and/or bacteria in the air is presented. The full-faced shield is useful for providing an impervious protective layer for an entire face of a person. The full-faced shield is useful for preventing droplets in the air from contacting eyes, nose and mouth area of the person. Furthermore, the full-faced shield provides an enhanced level of protection compared to typical face masks.
Lens seal for headgear
An article of headgear that has a head-covering article, a lens moveably attached to the head-covering article, and a seal attached to the lens, the seal comprising a first polymeric material and a second polymeric material, the first polymeric material having a greater tensile modulus than the second material. In an exemplary embodiment, the lens is moveable from a first, lowered position to a second, raised position, and when in the first, lowered position, the seal sealingly engages the head-covering article. In some embodiments, the tensile modulus of the first polymeric material is at least about 5× greater or even about 10× greater than the tensile modulus of the second material.
Retrofit sensor module for a protective head top
The present disclosure includes a retrofit sensor module for use with a protective head top with a helmet and a visor. The sensor module includes a sensor housing and an attachment mechanism. The sensor housing encloses a head presence sensor to sense when the protective head top is being worn. The sensor housing also encloses a position sensor to sense the position of the visor relative to the helmet. The retrofit sensor module further comprises an attachment mechanism secured to the housing. The attachment mechanism mates with a first hinge component of a hinge assembly in the protective head top to removably install the sensor module into the protective head top, wherein the hinge assembly allows the visor to move relative to the helmet.
VISION-PROTECTING FILTER LENS
A vision-protecting filter lens, including a multilayer optical film and a neutral-density optical filter.
BREATHING APPARATUS
A breathing apparatus including a face mask adapted to substantially cover a face of a user and a neck component attached to the face mask and surrounding the user's neck. The face mask has a peripheral region which forms a pneumatic seal against the face and an air inlet arranged proximal to the peripheral region. The neck component houses a flow generator configured to receive unfiltered air from outside of the breathing apparatus, filter the unfiltered air, and convey the filtered air to the face mask through the air inlet.
Safety hood with a visor size-independent fastening on the head strap
A safety hood (1), with a head strap (7) for fixation on the head (6) of a user of the hood, has features for adjusting the head strap (7) to different head sizes and/or head shapes. The respirator hood (1) has, further, a visor pane (4) and a flexible hood outer skin (8), which are connected with one another and of which the visor pane (4) is indirectly or directly fastened to the head strap (7). The visor pane (4) is fastened indirectly or directly to the head strap (7) exclusively in the area (10) of the forehead of the user of the hood.
RESPIRATOR MASK WITH A FILTER
The disclosure relates to a respirator mask including a mask body and at least one filter for filtering a fluid (e.g. air) flowing through the mask and/or the mask body. The at least one filter may include one or more of: an Ultra-Violet (UV) filter and/or UV emitter, a filter fleece, and/or an electrical and/or electrostatic filter.
COCKPIT AUGMENTED VISION SYSTEM FOR AIRCRAFT
The disclosed embodiments relate to a cockpit augmented vision unit (CAVU) is provided that includes a video signal feed, a housing configured to house a display, and an attachment mechanism coupled to the housing that is configured to secure the housing and the display to an oxygen mask. The video signal feed can be communicatively coupled to at least one source of a video signal, and the display can be coupled to the video signal feed. The display is configured to display the video signal.
FACE MASK APPARATUS
Disclosed herein is a face mask apparatus, in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the face mask apparatus may include a mask body and at least one first magnetic element. Further, the at least one first magnetic element may be disposed in at least one body portion of the mask body. Further, the at least one first magnetic element may be magnetically couplable with at least one second magnetic element disposed in at least one device portion of at least one attachment device. Further, the at least one first magnetic element magnetically attaches to the at least one second magnetic element for attaching the at least one body portion to the at least one device portion. Further, the at least one attachment device may be worn on at least a part of a head of a user.
Personal respiratory protection device
The present invention relates to a personal respiratory protection device, in particular, such a device comprising a respirator body having a periphery, a filter media, forming at least part of the respirator body, and a gasket, the gasket being located at the periphery and extending along at least a portion of its length.
