Bowfishing arrow slide with shock absorbing system
A bowfishing arrow slide configured to slidably attach a bowfishing line to an arrow and configured to include a shock absorbing system to enhance the life of the slide is disclosed. The bowfishing arrow slide enables a bowfishing line to be slidably attached to the arrow to keep the arrow attached to a line reel even after being shot and to allow the slide to move from a preshot position at the tip of the arrow to the rear of the arrow during the shot for improved arrow flight. The bowfishing arrow slide may include a shock absorbing system on the bowfishing arrow slide whereby the shock absorbing system is configured to absorb impact forces created when the strikes a slide stop on an arrow shaft when the arrow is shot. The shock absorbing system reduces damage to the slide thereby enhancing the useful life of the slide.
Bracket for attachment with a hydraulic damper assembly and a method of joining a bracket and a hydraulic damper assembly
A bracket comprises a body extending along a center axis between a first end and a second end. The body defines a first groove and a second groove. The first groove, located at the first end and flaring radially outwardly, presents a first slanted surface. The second groove, located at the second end and flaring radially outwardly, presents a second slanted surface. A pair of coupling members including a first and a second coupling member are respectively located in the first and second grooves for engagement with a housing of a hydraulic damper assembly. The first end includes at least one first deformation for retaining the first coupling member. The second end includes at least one second deformation for retaining the second coupling member. A hydraulic damper assembly including the bracket and a method of joining the bracket and the hydraulic damper assembly are also disclosed herein.
Electronically controlled external damper reservoir
An electronically controller external damper reservoir assembly (eRESI) can be connected to a passive damper and/or substituted for an existing external reservoir to provide semi-active damping control. The eRESI includes a reservoir and a variable base valve assembly actuated by an actuator. A controller is in communication with the actuator and a sensor providing input signal indicative of vehicle movement and is programmed to generate a damping control signal to the actuator based on the input signal, to dynamically control the damping force outputted by a passive damper hydraulically connected to the eRESI. A P/T sensor can be installed to a gas chamber of a vehicle damper to generate a P/T signal indicative of the pressure and temperature of the gas. The controller is programmed to determine a damper position of the damper based on the P/T signal.
BUSH
Various embodiments provide a bush for isolating vibrations, the bush comprising: a first anchor part defining a longitudinal axis; a second anchor part disposed coaxially with respect to the first anchor part; a first resilient body operably engaged with the first anchor part; a second resilient body operably engaged with the second anchor part; and an inertial mass element disposed between the first anchor part and the second anchor part. The inertial mass element is independently connected to the first resilient body and the second resilient body. Also, the first resilient body, second resilient body and inertial mass element are arranged to isolate vibrations between the first anchor part and the second anchor part within a predetermined operational frequency range. Further, the inertial mass element is arranged to isolate the first anchor part and second anchor part from dynamic stiffness increases associated with eigenmodes of the first resilient body and the second resilient body in the predetermined operational frequency range.
Electro-Rheological Fluid and Cylinder Device
To provide an electro-rheological fluid and a cylinder device, which each can achieve both high heat resistance and a high ER effect. The electro-rheological fluid (300) of the present invention includes a fluid (30) and polyurethane particles (31) containing metal ion. The polyurethane particles (31) are each composed of polyol and two or more types of isocyanates. A hard segment ratio of the polyurethane particle (31) is 13 to 34%.
DIAPHRAGM HOLDER FOR AN OLEO-PNEUMATIC-TYPE SHOCK ABSORBER
A diaphragm holder for an oleo-pneumatic-type shock absorber includes a tubular body made of thermoplastic material, having one end arranged to hold a diaphragm and an opposite end defining an arched bottom for withstanding pressure forces. An insert is housed in the bottom of the tubular body and is arranged to mechanically reinforce the bottom and to distribute the pressure forces evenly.
DUAL RATE JOUNCE BUMPER AND A VEHICLE COMPRISING THE SAME
A dual rate jounce bumper and a vehicle containing the dual rate jounce bumper are useful.
Sealing member and vibration damping device including the same
A sealing member according to the present invention is a sealing member against a synthetic oil containing an ester-type additive, and includes 95.0% by mass or more and 99.5% by mass or less of a para-phenylene diisocyanate-based polyurethane and 0.5% by mass or more and 5% by mass or less of a same compound as the ester-based additive. The sealing member according to the present invention has a smaller friction coefficient and more excellent deformability than conventional sealing members and that can inhibit swelling caused by a synthetic oil.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR A 3D-PRINTED SPRING
Various embodiments of the present technology may provide methods and apparatus for a 3D-printed spring. The 3D-printed spring may be formed from a plurality of toroidal elements spaced apart from each other and connected with a plurality of connectors. Each connector connects one toroidal element to a directly adjacent toroidal element.
Single-degree-of-freedom magnetic damping shock absorber based on eddy current effect
The present disclosure provides a single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) magnetic damping shock absorber based on an eddy current effect, comprising a lower plate, a ring-shaped magnet a, a ring-shaped magnet b, an aluminum cylinder, a bottom copper sheet, a copper sheet, a top copper sheet, a bearing seat, a linear bearing, a bearing end cap, a load, a piston shaft, a stepped shaft, a fixed collar, a coil spring, a lower clamping shaft, and fixing screws. When the shock absorber is working, the ring-shaped magnet a keeps stationary at the lower end and the ring-shaped magnet b reciprocates in the vertical direction. Both magnets are arranged in a mutual attraction manner. Under the action of a time-varying electromagnetic field generated by the relative movement of the ring-shaped magnet b, the copper sheet arranged between the two ring-shaped magnets generates eddy current damping. The movement of the ring-shaped magnet b is inhibited.
