RESPIRATOR MASK FOR LONG-TERM USE
A respirator mask for long-term use is disclosed. In an example, a respirator mask includes a transparent lens integrated with a frame. The respirator mask also includes a first inhalation filter assembly connected to a left external side of the frame, a second inhalation filter assembly connected to an right external side of the frame, and an exhalation filter assembly connected to a bottom external side of the frame. Each of the filter assemblies have the same dimensions and include filter media, a base section configured o receive the filter media, a filter cap removably connected to the base section to retain the filter media against the base section, and a check valve located between the filter media and the base section or integrated with the base section. The disclosed respirator mask is configured to improve airflow and comfort for a wearer while minimizing postential causes of contamination.
Delivery of respiratory therapy
A patient interface includes a sealing arrangement adapted to provide an effective seal with the patient's nose, an inlet conduit arrangement adapted to deliver breathable gas to the sealing arrangement, and a cover that substantially encloses the sealing arrangement and/or the inlet conduit arrangement.
INTERCONNECT ASSEMBLY AND SUPPORT ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SAME
An interconnect assembly (100, 300, 400) is for a support assembly (2) that includes a retention member (4) and a strap member (6). The interconnect assembly includes a number of female interconnect members (110, 210, 310, 410) with a first body member (112, 212, 312) and a first magnet (116, 216, 316, 416) coupled to the first body member. The first body member is connected to the retention member and has an aperture (114, 214, 314, 414). The interconnect assembly also includes a number of male interconnect members (150, 250, 350, 450) with a second body member (152, 252, 352) and a second magnet (160, 260, 360, 460) coupled to the second body member. The second body member is connected to the strap member and includes a protrusion (154, 254, 354, 452, 454) structured to be located within the aperture. When the protrusion is located within the aperture, the first magnet is attracted to the second magnet, thereby removably connecting the first body member to the second body member.
Delivery of respiratory therapy using a detachable manifold
An air delivery system for providing a supply of air from a source of air at positive pressure to an interfacing structure located at the entrance to the airways of a patient includes a manifold adapted to connect with the supply of positive air pressure and at least one tube connected to the manifold and adapted to deliver the supply of air to the interfacing structure. Each tube is structured to allow movement between an open phase in which the tube allows the passage of air and a collapsed phase in which the tube is collapsed. Each tube is structured such that weight of a typical patient's head against bedding apparel is sufficient to collapse the tube from the open phase to the collapsed phase.
METHOD AND APPARATUSES FOR DELIVERING HYPERBARIC GAS AND/OR TREATING RESPIRATORY ILLNESSES, POST COVID SYNDROME(S) AND CHRONIC TRAUMATIC ENCEPHALOPATHY
An apparatus is disclosed that includes an aircraft or repurposed aircraft or fuselage having a cabin capable of pressurization, a way to pressurize the cabin whether by built in machinery or external apparatus, a way to deliver oxygen to a plurality of persons in the cabin, a source of hyperbaric oxygen, a pressure gauge or regulator configured to measure or regulate a pressure of the hyperbaric oxygen or the aircraft, a plurality of face or head coverings configured to provide the hyperbaric oxygen to persons or patients in need thereof, and an optional exhaust system configured to remove gas(es) from the face or head coverings without releasing the gas(es) into the cabin. Each of the face or head coverings includes a gas inlet, a gas outlet, and one or more seals adapted to contain oxygen in the face or head covering at a pressure greater than 1 atm. A related kit and a related method of treating persons with hyperbaric oxygen are also disclosed.
DELIVERY OF RESPIRATORY THERAPY
Ergonomic and adjustable respiratory mask assembly with frame
A respiratory mask assembly for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes a frame having a front surface and a rear surface, opposite the front surface, and adapted in use to face the patient. The frame defines an inner wall and an outer wall extending from the rear surface, the inner and outer walls being spaced to define a channel therebetween. A cushion is removably attachable to the frame such that the cushion and frame are repeatably engagable with and disengagable from one another. The cushion includes a side wall to be inserted into the channel of the frame, the side wall having a first interlocking surface that engages a second interlocking surface provided in the channel when the cushion and frame are engaged with one another. The first and second interlocking surfaces interlock with one another to removably attach the cushion to the frame.
AIR PURIFICATION MASK
The present invention provides a mask. The mask includes a mask body, a filter module installed on the mask body, a light source and a photocatalyst plate. The filter module includes a cavity, and it is provided with an air inlet and an air outlet which are located in different regions of the filter module. The photocatalyst plate and the light source are both located in the cavity. The surface of the photocatalyst plate is covered with a photocatalyst coating, and the light emitted by the light source irradiates the photocatalyst plate. In the embodiment of the present invention, by placing the light source and the photocatalyst plate in the cavity of the filter module, the photocatalyst generates strong oxidizing substances under light irradiation, which substances can inactivate harmful substances. Therefore, by placing the light source and the photocatalyst plate in the cavity of the filter module, harmful substances entering the mask can be sterilized and inactivated. The harmful substances after the sterilization and inactivation are no longer harmful, so there is no secondary pollution caused by harmful substances dropping off. It solves the problem of secondary pollution caused by the harmful substances in existing masks.
FULL FACE RESPIRATOR MASK
A full face respirator mask includes a base having a base plate, a front protruding portion extending forwardly from a front portion of the base plate, an air inlet extending through the front protruding portion and the base plate, a plurality of connectors connected to the base plate, and an assembling ring disposed on a rear peripheral edge of the base plate and having a plurality of engaging grooves. A flexible interface is detachably assembled to the base, and includes a ring-shaped mounting portion connected to the assembling ring, and an abutment portion for abutting against a face of a user. The mounting portion has a ring-shaped embedding groove receiving the assembling ring.
