The attachment portions of the mask band can wrap around side edges of the external surface of the facemask such that the second set of fastening elements mate with the first set of fastening elements.

The method includes measuring a pressure reading related to the system, increasing blower power if the pressure reading is less than a pressure limit, and decreasing blower power if the pressure reading is greater than the pressure limit.
