Single-use, disposable helmets, hoods, and helmet/hood assemblies are disclosed. Methods of making and using single-use, disposable helmets, hoods, and helmet/hood assemblies are also disclosed.

A customizable mask system can include a facemask, such as a filtering facepiece respirator, that has a first set of fastening elements integrated into an internal surface of the facemask. The system can also include a customizable mask band adapted to cover at least a portion of an external surface of the facemask. The mask band can have one or more attachment portions positioned on the mask band in locations that correspond to positions of the first set of fastening elements on the facemask and a second set of fastening elements integrated into the attachment portions. The attachment portions of the mask band can wrap around side edges of the external surface of the facemask such that the second set of fastening elements mate with the first set of fastening elements.

A smart mask includes a face covering, an attachment member, one or more power source(s), an air circulation subsystem, an exhaust subsystem, and a controller. The face covering is configured to cover a face area of a wearer. The attachment member is configured to attach the face covering onto the face area of the wearer. The air circulation subsystem is powered by at least one of the one or more power source(s) and configured to filter outside air and draw the filtered outside air into the face area. The exhaust subsystem is placed below the air circulation subsystem and configured to purge exhaled air out of the face area. The controller is configured to control the air circulation subsystem.

This disclosure relates to a mask, and in particular a mask configured as a respirator. The disclosed mask is relatively low cost and relatively easy to manufacture. Further, the disclosed mask is reusable and customizable.

A health band for a human body may include a band part having a through hole formed at a predetermined position such that a large amount of air for breathing by the respiratory system of the human body is introduced; and a protruding member which is formed so as to surround the through hole while blocking the through hole so as to prevent substances harmful to the human body contained in the air introduced through the through hole from flowing into the respiratory system.

A partition plate device of a respirator mask includes a partition plate having an upside surface and a downside surface each cooperating with a mask body and a user's face to define an upper chamber and a lower chamber, respectively, a mask connecting rims for connecting against an inner surface of the mask body a user connecting rim for contacting the user's face, and at least one valve hole extending through the upside and downside surfaces and communicating with the upper and lower chambers. A valve unit includes at least one valve flap covering the valve hole and being movable away from the same to permit air in the lower chamber to flow in a single direction to the upper chamber.

A system and method for protecting against respiratory hazards, the system including: a mask for placement on a face of a user, a hood configured to cover the head of the user and interface with the mask, an air blower configured to provide air to the hood, at least one filter configured to filter air entering the hood via the air blower, at least one pressure sensor, provided to the hood, and a controller to receive data from the at least one pressure sensor and configured to control the blower to maintain a predetermined air pressure in the hood. The method includes measuring a pressure reading related to the system, increasing blower power if the pressure reading is less than a pressure limit, and decreasing blower power if the pressure reading is greater than the pressure limit.

The present invention relates to a multifunctional transparent facemask system having a transparent facemask that seals over the nose, jawbone, and neck of a wearer to provide clean air for inhalation. The system filters out harmful contaminates from exhaled air before the exhaled air is released into the environment. The facemask system includes a removable visor to be disposed in front of the eyes of the wearer to prohibit drying of the eyes and preventing pathogens from entering therein. The system includes an air pump for providing fresh air to the facemask, an air filter for filtering out harmful contaminates from exhaled air, an inlet pipe for fresh air flow into the facemask, an outlet pipe for flowing exhaled air out from the facemask, and a small air tube for providing fresh air to the visor. The facemask includes a microphone and a speaker for providing effective communication, and LEDs for illumination.

A system for protecting against respiratory hazards, the system comprising a hood configured to cover a head of a user and interface with a mask, when the mask is positioned on a face of the user; an air blower connected with the hood in order to provide air to an interior of the hood; at least one pressure sensor coupled to a controller, the at least one sensor for measuring air pressure at a selected location; and the controller to receive data from the at least one pressure sensor and configured to control the air blower to dynamically adjust the air pressure in the interior of the hood to a set pressure, such that the controller configures operation of the air blower by an operational mode selected from a plurality of operational modes, such that each of the operational modes are represented by a different set of operational parameters including the set pressure.

The nose mask is intended to be used during Airborne Pandemic. The Nose Mask is a single Triangle/Cone shaped that covers only the nose, that comes with two ear elastic bands or a single head elastic band for support.
