RE-USABLE ELASTOMERIC RESPIRATOR AND VENTILATOR WITH FILTER INSERTS AND PORTS
A reusable, elastomeric respirator and ventilator, with filter inserts, including a mask body having a pliant facial interface on the interior of the mask body, and two apertures centrally positioned on the front face of the mask body. Two interchangeable plugs or ports are provided to be received within and seal the apertures, deliver oxygen into the mask, or deliver liquids to a wearer of the mask. On opposing sides of the mask body are air filter housings which support an air filter, each air filter housing including a base support structure affixed to the mask body and a top securing structure removably secured to the base support structure. One or more straps are affixed to the mask body to secure the mask body about a wearer's head.
CLEAR-FACED, VIRUS PROTECTION FACE MASK FOR IMPROVED FACIAL RECOGNITION
A face shield of a face mask has two or more openings for attachment of air filters (e.g., COVID-19, T70 or T90 air filters). The two or more openings face towards the ground being substantially perpendicular to the nose and the lip of the face. A nose bridge attaches to a support fame and having a span from a first side of the nose over a top and to a second side of the nose. The nose bridge and connected portions of the support frame fully expose a front facing portion of the nose of the face.
PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR AND MEDICAL FACE MASK SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR PROTECTING THE EYES AND STABILIZING A FACE MASK DURING A MEDICAL PROCEDURE
A pair of protective eyewear for securing a medical face mask on a face of a patient to prevent migration of the medical face mask about the face of the patient during a medical or surgical procedure. The protective eyewear may include a main body having a nosepiece and a pair of eye portions secured in the main body. The nosepiece may include a fastener defining a mask-receiving space for releasable receipt of a ridge of a medical face mask. The eyewear may additionally include one or more straps or other head securing structure, extending from the main body, to secure the eyewear to a head of the patient. Further, there is provided a system protecting eyes of a patient during a medical or surgical procedure and a method of securing a face mask to a face of a patient to prevent migration of the medical face mask about the face of the patient during the medical or surgical procedure.
APPARATUS FIXED TO FACE
The invention of the present application relates to an apparatus fixed to the face. Particularly, the present invention relates to an apparatus which is fixed to the face by bringing, in close contact with a specific part of the face, at least one from among a mask, hat, helmet, portable sound equipment, glasses or goggles, eye patch, VR device, chin strap and cosmetic facial mask.
HEADGEAR WITH DIRECTIONAL ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM
This disclosure provides a directional adjustment unit for a headgear for a respiratory mask The directional adjustment unit provides an increased resistance to extension of one or more straps of the headgear when the headgear is under tensile forces, as compared to a lower resistance to retraction of the one or more headgear straps. The directional adjustment unit comprises a movable frictional engagement member comprising an aperture, wherein the aperture is arranged to receive a filament of a strap of the headgear therethrough, wherein the frictional engagement member in a first configuration provides a disengaged or pre-activated configuration with respect to the filament, and in a second configuration provides an engaged configuration with respect to the filament. Features are provided which improve the operation of such a directional adjustment unit. These features include features to help resist bending of the filament inside the directional adjustment unit, features to vary frictional engagement between the frictional engagement member and the filament, and features to reduce sticking of the frictional engagement member in a given position.
Selectively Scent Infusible Face Masking Assembly
A selectively scent infusible face masking assembly for filtering and scenting air includes a facemask, a pocket panel, and a plurality of pads. The facemask is selectively positionable over a nose and mouth of a user so that the facemask is removably engaged to a head of the user. The facemask filters particulates from air passing through the facemask. The pocket panel has opposing edges and a bottom edge that are engaged to the facemask to define a pouch. Each pad is infused with a respective aroma compound so that the plurality of pads comprises pads that are infused with a variety of aroma compounds. The pads are sized complementarily to the pouch. A respective pad is selectively insertable into the pouch so that the respective pad releases an associated aroma compound into the air passing through the facemask.
Face Mask Assembly
A face mask assembly includes a face mask is comprised of a particulate filtering material to filter air being breathed by a user. The face mask has a mouth opening extending through the face mask to expose the user's mouth when the face mask is worn to facilitate eating and drinking. A flap is movably coupled to the face mask and the flap is positionable in a closed position having the flap covering the mouth opening to filter air breathed by the user. The flap is positionable in an open position to facilitate the user to eat or drink. A first mating member is coupled to flap and a second mating member is coupled to the face mask. The first mating member is releasably mated to the first mating member when the flap is in the closed position for retaining the flap in the closed position.
Face mask
A face mask includes a space formed therein by a peripheral wall extending from the periphery of the space. At least one first path and at least one second path are respectively formed in the space so that outside air enters into the space via the at least one first pat, and air in the space is released from the space via the at least one second path. The face mask covers a large area of the wearer's face to reduce foreign objects from entering into the wear's body so as to reduce the chance of being infected.
Bayonet connectors suitable for connecting filter cartridges to respirators
A bayonet connector (112, 128) suitable for connecting a filter cartridge (72) or an air supply tube to a respirator (10, 14). The bayonet connector (112) has a tubular male part (112) and a female part. The male part has a tube (114) with two or more lugs (130, 132) formed on it, which engage with engaging ribs (136, 138) located on an interior sidewall of the female part (128), or vice versa. The lugs (130, 132) and their corresponding engaging ribs (136, 138) are located at different axial positions.
