Mask apparatuses and approach
Aspects of various embodiments herein may be implemented as follows. An apparatus has a material shell that conforms to a user's face, and a securing portion connected to the shell that may operate to secure a filter to the user's face with the filter covering the user's nose and mouth. A securing force may be applied to the filter via the first material portion in a direction toward the user's face, thereby sealing the filter around the user's nose and mouth. Various implementations involve elastic and other material that facilitate sealing of the filter around the user's nose and mouth.
Face Mask With Releasable Lower Portion To Enable Eating And Drinking
A face mask is configured in a two-piece form, with an upper portion that covers the nose (and remains in place at all times) and a lower portion that covers the mouth, where the lower portion may be moved (released) to expose the mouth area, without needing to completely remove the mask, as typical in the prior art. A releasable attachment is formed between the bottom area of the upper portion and the top area of the lower portion. The releasable attachment may take many forms, such as a hook-and-loop arrangement, a releasable adhesive, snap connections, and the like.
PROTECTIVE FACE SHIELD UTILIZING LAMINAR AIR FLOW
An airflow device configured for creating an air barrier includes a fan, a power source, a laminar assembly, and an attachment mechanism. The power source is coupled to the fan. The laminar assembly includes a plurality of tubes and is coupled to the fan so that air flow generated by the fan passes through the plurality of tubes to create the air barrier. The attachment mechanism attaches the laminar assembly to a user in a location near the user's head such that the air barrier created by the laminar assembly is positioned in front of the user's face. A plenum is positioned between the fan and the laminar assembly such that the air flow generated by the fan passes through the plenum and then through the laminar assembly. The airflow device acts as a face shield that protects the user from airborne contaminants and viruses.
RESPIRATOR FACE MASKS FOR PROTECTION FROM AIRBORNE PARTICLES
The present disclosure provides a filtration media for filtering one or more airborne particles. The filtration media may comprise a membrane comprising one or more polymeric layers to filter the airborne particles. The filtration media may have high filtration efficiency and high breathability. Additionally, the present disclosure provides devices (e.g., face masks) comprising the filtration media which may be used to filter airborne particles (e.g., bacteria, viruses) and to protect the wearer (e.g., from infection).
Respirator mask with integrated bone conduction transducer
A system for a bone conduction communication system that includes at least one bone conduction element that is stabilized against a wearer's head when in use. In one embodiment, the bone conduction communication system includes a bone conduction device including at least one bone conduction element and a wearable device, the bone conduction device being coupled to the wearable device, the wearable device stabilizing the at least one bone conduction element in a plurality of axes of support.
FlowStop2020 Mask Attachment Devices
An article of manufacture providing a face attachment devices for securing a face covering to a face according to the present invention have chin attachment device, a nose bridge attachment device, and a pair of cheek attachment devices. The chin attachment device has a pair of strips of hydrogel self-adhesive material stacked on top of each other for use about a chin. Each of the cheek attachment device having a first top and a first bottom strip of hydrogel self-adhesive material stacked on top of each other for use on a first cheek, the first top strip of hydrogel self-adhesive material being placed on top of a rectangular cheek inserted structure between the first top and first bottom strip of hydrogel self-adhesive material. The nose bridge attachment device having a nose bridge top and a nose bridge bottom strip of hydrogel self-adhesive material stacked on top of each other for use on a nose bridge, the nose bridge top strip of hydrogel self-adhesive material being placed on top of a pair of triangular-shaped structure between the nose bridge top and nose bridge bottom strip of hydrogel self-adhesive material.
Compact oronasal patient interface
A breathing arrangement includes a patient interface, at least one inlet conduit, and a headgear assembly. The patient interface includes a mouth covering assembly including a cushion structured to sealingly engage around exterior of a patient's mouth in use, a nozzle assembly including a pair of nozzles structured to sealingly engage within nasal passages of a patient's nose in use, and a flexible element connecting the mouth covering assembly and the nozzle assembly. The at least one inlet conduit is structured to deliver breathable gas into at least one of the mouth covering assembly and the nozzle assembly for breathing by the patient. The headgear assembly is removably connected to at least one of the mouth covering assembly and the nozzle assembly so as to maintain the mouth covering assembly and the nozzle assembly in a desired position on the patient's face.
Rapidly deployable, cough and sneeze, aerosol containment apparatus
A rapidly deployable, pressure sealed, cough and sneeze aerosol, containment apparatus and a system to virtually eradicate the cold, the flu, and Covid-19. A face mask having a rigid first section configured to hold a filter and a pliable second section configured to fit on a person's face; a face mask seal formed on an edge of the pliable second section of the face mask; a curved surface on the face mask seal configured to fold inward to form a seal on the person's face when pressed on the person's face.
PILOT OXYGEN MASK INTEGRATED WITH BONE CONDUCTION SYSTEM
A respiratory mask system is presented. This respiratory mask system includes an inflatable harness and a bone conduction device to provide audio to a user while wearing the respiratory mask system. The bone conduction device is installed on or interconnected with a portion of the inflatable harness, such as a tube of the inflatable harness that is positioned at least somewhat in proximate to a user's ear. Inflation of the inflatable harness may press the bone conduction device against the user to enhance the delivery of audio to the user.
Face mask in a cup shape with sticky micro droplets sprayed between its synthetic mesh layers
A face mask that uses a super sticky substance that is sprayed between the 3 material layers of the mask and in its exhaust valve filter to trap and hold particles or microbes when breathing in and out and replicates the body's own sinus defenses in filtering air via cilia hairs and sticky mucus.
