Belt that is continuously closed in the longitudinal direction, in particular round baler belt

A belt, such as a round baler belt, includes a core region, and at least one peripheral region arranged transversely to a longitudinal direction of the belt, where the peripheral region has a protective element at least sectionally, and the belt is continuously closed in the longitudinal direction. In some cases, the protective element is arranged around the entire continuously closed circumference in the longitudinal direction. The protective element may be stretched more in the longitudinal direction than the core region. The protective element may be a metal element, and in some cases, is a steel wire. Further, the protective element may be configured in an interrupted manner in the longitudinal direction. In some cases, a plurality of protective elements are arranged in a manner overlapping one another sectionally in the longitudinal direction.

Toothed belt

Provided is a toothed belt that has satisfactory durability even under high-temperature and high-load conditions or within an oil or water environment. The toothed belt 10 comprises a belt body 13 including a tooth rubber portion 11 and a backing rubber portion 12. A surface of the tooth rubber portion 11 is covered with a facing fabric 20. The facing fabric 20 is subjected to RFL treatment, and has an outer surface 21 covered with a hardened material of a first epoxy resin. The softening point of the hardened material of the first epoxy resin is, for example, 110 C. or higher. The epoxy equivalent of the first epoxy resin is, for example, 100 to 1500 g/eq. Alternatively, the facing fabric 20 is subjected to impregnation treatment with a treatment agent including a second epoxy resin, a hardener for hardening the second epoxy resin, and a rubber component.

V-ribbed belt

A V-ribbed belt contains an extension layer forming a belt back face, a compression layer provided on one side of the extension layer, and a tension member embedded between the extension layer and the compression layer and extending in a belt circumferential length direction. The compression layer has a plurality of V-shaped ribs formed to be extending in the belt circumferential length direction and to be a frictional power transmission surface with a pulley. The frictional power transmission surface is covered with a knitted fabric, in which the knitted fabric is knitted out of a polyester-based composite yarn and a cellulose-based natural spun yarn. The polyester-based composite yarn is a bulky yarn, and a knitting ratio of the cellulose-based natural spun yarn is not less than a knitting ratio of the polyester-based composite yarn.

ADHESIVE AGENT COMPOSITION FOR ORGANIC FIBER AND METHOD OF TREATING ORGANIC FIBER

An object of the present invention is to provide an adhesive agent composition for an organic fiber, the adhesive agent composition hardly causing precipitation or cohesion and having stable adhesive force.

The present invention provides an adhesive agent composition for an organic fiber, the adhesive agent composition including epoxy resin and a water soluble curing agent, and also provides to a method of treating an organic fiber, the method including the steps of: (i) treating the organic fiber with the adhesive agent composition as a first treating agent; and (ii) treating the organic fiber, having been treated with the first treating agent, with a second treating agent containing a resorcin-formalin-rubber latex (RFL).
