The invention relates to an article (1) having a main body composed of a polymeric material having elastic properties, in particular an air spring bellows (1), a metal-rubber element or a vibration damper. In order to improve its fire-retardant and/or flame-retardant properties, the article has been provided partially or completely with a flock (9).
Power transmission belt
A power transmission belt and a method for manufacturing said belt. The belt includes: a backing layer made of a material with elastomeric behavior; a ventral layer made of a material with elastomeric behavior; a mechanical reinforcement means inserted between the backing layer and the ventral layer comprising a film with thermoplastic transformation surrounding the mechanical reinforcement means, said film comprising at least: a first component physically and/or chemically bonded to at least one component of the backing layer; a second component physically and/or chemically bonded to at least one component of the mechanical reinforcement means; and a third component physically and/or chemically bonded to at least one component of the ventral layer. The method for manufacturing said belt may advantageously use an anti-sticking means.
Power transmission belt
A power transmission belt and a method for manufacturing said belt. The belt includes: a backing layer made of a material with elastomeric behavior; a ventral layer made of a material with elastomeric behavior; a mechanical reinforcement means inserted between the backing layer and the ventral layer comprising a film with thermoplastic transformation surrounding the mechanical reinforcement means, said film comprising at least: a first component physically and/or chemically bonded to at least one component of the backing layer; a second component physically and/or chemically bonded to at least one component of the mechanical reinforcement means; and a third component physically and/or chemically bonded to at least one component of the ventral layer. SELF-EXTINGUISHING FABRIC BELT FOR ELEVATOR SYSTEM
A belt for suspending and/or driving an elevator car including a plurality of tension elements extending longitudinally along a length of the belt, and a plurality of yarns interlaced with the plurality of tension elements forming a composite belt structure. The plurality of yarns are formed from a self-extinguishing fluoroelastomer material. An elevator system includes a hoistway, an elevator car positioned in the hoistway and movable therein, a belt operably connected to the elevator car to suspend and/or drive the elevator car along the hoistway. The belt includes a plurality of tension elements extending longitudinally along a length of the belt and a plurality of yarns interlaced with the plurality of tension elements forming a composite belt structure. The plurality of yarns are formed from a self-extinguishing fluoroelastomer material.
SELF-EXTINGUISHING FABRIC BELT FOR ELEVATOR SYSTEM

Drive means for conveyor belts, in particular of agricultural machines, and method for the production thereof
A flat belt provides an endless traction suitable for conveyor belts, and has no fabric insert in the force transmission region. In some embodiment it has no fabric insert in the back of the belt. The flat belt is formed by a multistage method which includes forming a flat belt with a main body and endless tension member elements, by a rotary vulcanization process, and subsequently forming at least a part of the force transmission region on the flat belt. The flat belt may be used in agricultural machines which convey agricultural harvested material.

In order to improve its flame retardant properties, the main body of the article consists of or contains at least one layer D constructed from a rubber mixture which is free from halogen-containing flame retardants and contains at least one carbon black having a BET surface area according to DIN-ISO 9277 between 35 and 140 m.sup.2/g and an oil absorption number (OAN) according to ISO 4656 between 70 and 140 ml/100 g and a first aluminum trihydrate (ATH_1) and at least a further aluminum trihydrate (ATH_2), wherein the first aluminum trihydrate (ATH_1) and the further aluminum trihydrate (ATH_2) each have a different particle size.
