Provided are a mask device and a method for controlling the same. The mask device includes a mask body configured to cover a nose and mouth of a user, a first air cleaner connected to one side of the mask body, and a second air cleaner connected to the other side of the mask body. Also, the mask device includes a first suction fan module installed in the first air cleaner, a second suction fan module installed in the second air cleaner, and an exhaust fan module disposed in the mask body.

A patient mask including a body shaped to be placed over a face of a patient and configured to prevent the passage of viruses and/or particles therethrough and at least one port configured to receive an endoscope, a surgical instrument, or both and to conform to the shape of the surgical instrument such that the port prevents the passage of viruses and/or particles therethrough.

A combined microphone and fluid-delivery apparatus includes a microphone disposed at an end of a support member, and a fluid passageway supported by the support member. A mouthpiece extends from the passageway so as to be positioned adjacent the microphone. The mouthpiece defines an outlet port that is in fluid communication with the fluid passageway.
