Decorative respirator and communication mask
12194323 · 2025-01-14 ·

A face mask is provided. The face mask comprises a decorative skin with a strap attached to an outer perimeter of the decorative skin. A respirator is attached to a connection piece and utilizes a filter. A speaker and a microphone are mounted to the face mask, and an electronic transceiver module is attached to the face mask. The strap secures the face mask to a head of the user such that an air-tight seal is formed in a worn position. The power source powers the speaker, the microphone, and the electronic transceiver module. The electronic transceiver module comprises a processor coupled to a computer memory and non-transitory computer readable media. The processor is configured to transmit and receive signals from the electronic transceiver module and the speaker or microphone.

Nutrition tube connector for sealed nutrition pouch
12214230 · 2025-02-04 · ·

Disclosed is a connector for connecting a sealed, flexible nutrition pouch to the hydration system of a user's protective mask, that allows the nutrition pouch to remain sealed until the user intends to consume the product inside of the nutrition pouch, enables resealing of the pouch after it has initially been opened, and allows connection of the nutrition pouch to the user's hydration system. The connector comprises a multi-piece body having an inlet end that may be manually attached to the outlet of the nutrition pouch without breaking the seal covering the outlet of the nutrition pouch. The connector likewise has an outlet end configured for attachment to an adapter on the user's fluid delivery system. Upon attachment of the adapter to the outlet of the connector, a piston inside of the connector is pushed toward the outlet of the nutrition pouch and breaks the seal over the outlet of the nutrition pouch, thus forming a flow channel for material in the nutrition pouch to flow through the connector and into the adapter and fluid delivery system for ultimate consumption by the user.

Receptacle device

A hydration respiration apparatus includes a respirator assembly having a facemask that covers the nose and mouth of user and a pair of filter cartridges on opposed sides of the facemask. A hydration assembly includes a hydration tube extending through a front wall of the facemask and a hydration reservoir configured to hold a liquid, the reservoir being displaced from the respirator assembly and in fluid communication with the tube. The hydration tube includes a proximal end situated in the interior area of the facemask and a distal end situated outside the facemask, the tube being selectively movable between a retracted configuration substantially outside the interior area and a deployed configuration substantially inside the interior area. The proximal end of the hydration tube includes a valve configured to selectively release water into the mouth of the user when the hydration tube is at the deployed configuration.

There is provided a receptacle device for a mask, the receptacle device comprising: a valve; a body portion holding the valve; and an anchor portion; wherein at least one of the body portion and anchor portion is configured to engage the mask by at least one of plastic joining, adhesive bonding, welding, mechanical fastening, stitching, and magnetic elements.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION MASK HAVING A LINEARLY MOVABLE DRINKING UNIT
20250288832 · 2025-09-18 ·

The disclosure relates to a respiratory protection mask having a support unit and a drinking unit. The support unit can be placed on the face of a user. The drinking unit can be moved linearly relative to the support unit in two opposite directions. A movement of the drinking unit-towards the support unit transfers the drinking unit to a drinking state. In this drinking state, a user of the respiratory protection mask can ingest a liquid from a connected liquid container without having to remove the respiratory protection mask. A movement of the drinking unit away from the support unit transfers the drinking unit to a spaced-apart state, in which a gap arises between the drinking unit and the face of the user.

Hydration system adapted for use in CBRN environments

A hydration system maintains a ready supply of hydrating fluid within a sealed system that protects against contamination of the fluid supply and of the user in a CBRN environment. The system includes a fluid container having a removable cap that is equipped with a pressurization system that pressurizes the inside of the fluid container. Pressure inside of the fluid container drives the hydrating fluid, such as water, to an outlet in the cap and onward to a shuttle valve. In an exemplary embodiment, the shuttle valve has an inlet configured for fluid connection to the pressurized container, an outlet configured for connection to a supply line to the user's protective mask, and an intermediate port for connection to a personal hydration carrier carried by the user. The shuttle valve allows for filing of the user's individual water carrier and drinking of that fluid from the water carrier without exposing the hydrating fluid to the CBRN environment, and without requiring the user to disconnect their mask from the system.
