The present invention relates to conveyors, comprising at least one circulating conveyor strand (7, 8), wherein the conveyor strand has at least one clamping connection (1), wherein at least one sensor (2) is arranged in the clamping connection (1), a transmitter (3) for wirelessly transmitting data is arranged on the conveyor strand (7, 8), the sensor (2) is connected with the transmitter (3), and a receiver (4) for receiving the data transmitted by the transmitter (3) is provided.

AUTOMATIC CONTROL PANEL FOR VULCANIZING PRESS AND METHOD OF USING THEREOF

An automatic control unit for field vulcanizing press is provided. The control unit helps to monitor and control all three essential vulcanizing parameters viz. temperature, pressure and time, either locally or through remote access. Data logging, local monitoring & control of vulcanizing parameters or remote monitoring and control of vulcanizing parameters using a smart device are the major features of this control unit in which remote monitoring and control of vulcanizing parameters is the unique feature of this control unit. A video recording unit is also provided to record entire splicing operation and also there is option for online video streaming facility and it will help to monitor the entire splicing operation from a remote-control station.

Applicator for conveyor belt fasteners

In accordance with one aspect, an applicator is provided for applying staple fasteners to an end of a conveyor belt. The applicator provides advancing, clenching, staple driving, and final set operations that are coordinated by a drive of the applicator. In one form, the drive includes a cam plate and the applicator includes a handle that may be pivoted to turn the cam plate through a range of motion. Turning of the cam plate causes cam followers received in cam paths of the cam plate to shift and operate the mechanisms of the applicator. A method of using an applicator to apply conveyor belt fasteners is also provided.

Belt or belt segment

The present invention relates to a belt or a belt segment having a plurality of strength supports. The strength supports run in the longitudinal direction (X) and are disposed so as to be mutually parallel. A connection element which forms one end of the belt or the belt segment and is configured for connecting to a further connection element of the other end of the belt or to one end of a further belt segment, it being possible for the ends of the strength supports to be held in a force-fitting manner by the connection element by way of press-fitting. The belt or the belt segment includes a part-region of the connection element which is configured as a tool region, in order to serve as a tool part during press-fitting of the ends of the strength supports in the connection element.

MOBILE VULCANIZING PRESS

A mobile vulcanizing press including a bottom box and a top box, which can be arranged one above the other with material to be vulcanized in between. The bottom box and/or the top box has/have at least one first bolt receiving section, in which a tension bolt can be pivotally located and at least one detent point is located on the bottom box or the top box, such that a detent means of the tension bolt can engage in the at least one detent point in at least one predetermined pivoting position of the tension bolt.

Belt splicing apparatus and method

A portable conveyor belt splicing apparatus is provided that includes an upper press assembly and a lower press assembly which include, respectively, upper and lower platen assemblies. The upper and lower press assemblies may each include a forced air cooling system for rapidly cooling platens of the platen assemblies. The upper and lower press assemblies may include insulating assemblies with resilient members that support the upper and lower press assemblies. The resilient members provide structural support and insulate the platens from the frame which reduces the power required to heat the platens. In one form, the apparatus includes a power supply circuit that can alternate between providing power to upper and lower heaters in response to the apparatus being connected to different types of standard power supplies. Further, the power supply circuit permits the use of a single recipe for a particular belt irrespective of the type of power supply.

SIDEWALL BONDER AND METHOD FOR BONDING SIDEWALLS TO THERMOPLASTIC BELTS
20200023594 · 2020-01-23 · ·

A bonder and a method for bonding corrugated sidewalls to a thermoplastic belt at a splice joint. Two heating jaw assemblies with complementary and confronting corrugated vertical faces clamp a thermoplastic belt to a base of the bonder with a corrugated sidewall section separated from the belt across a splice joint received in a corrugated slot formed between the confronting vertical faces. Corrugated bonding strips at the bottoms of the corrugated vertical faces apply heat to melt the bottom of the sidewall section on opposite sides to bond the corrugated sidewall section to the base.

Belt For Continuously Variable Transmission

A variety of transmission mechanisms are provided that include split pulleys nested within each other in order to reduce the size of the transmissions, to provide infinitely variable transmission ratios that include forward and reverse ratios, or to provide some other benefits. These transmissions includeW-shaped belts, having both contact surfaces that are directed outward from the belt and inward, toward a center-line of the belt, to contact the pulleys with respective different inward- and outward-directed contact surfaces. Accordingly, the surfaces at which the belt contacts the different pulleys may be substantially the same with respect to a hinge or other structure of the belt. This improvement may permit higher levels of power transmission, increased efficiency, and increased transmission lifetime. Additionally, variable-eccentricity variable transmissions are provided wherein the eccentricity of rotation of an inner, nested pulley varies with changes in the transmission ratio of the transmission.

Clamp, system and method for measuring tension in a conveyor belt

In an aspect there is disclosed examples of a clamp (10, 110) for measuring a tension of a conveyor belt (12). The clamp (10, 110) including a clamping portion (18, 118) arranged to engage with opposing faces of the conveyor belt (12) in a clamped condition to hold the conveyor belt (12) relative to an anchor, and a load sensing arrangement (22, 122) associated with the clamping portion (18, 118) configured to provide a signal indicative of the tension in the conveyor belt (12) in the clamped condition. A system and related method are also disclosed.
