BELT PULLER AND METHOD FOR PULLING BELT ENDS TOGETHER
A method for pulling a modular conveyor belt and a belt puller for performing the method. The belt puller has eyelets on one end that interleave with hinge elements on an end of a modular conveyor belt. A rod through the eyelets and the hinge elements connects the belt to the puller, which can then be used to pull the belt. Two ends of an unconnected belt can be pulled together by connecting a belt puller to each end, joining the belt pullers with a ratchet strap or other pulling tool, and tightening the strap to pull the ends together.
DRIVE BELT FOR A PEOPLE CONVEYOR
A drive belt segment (22) for forming a drive belt (20), in particular an endless drive belt (20) configured to be employed in a people conveyor (1), has two opposing ends and extends in a longitudinal direction between the two opposing ends. Each end is provided with a connector (30) which is configured for being connected to a corresponding connector (30) of the same or another drive belt segment (22) for forming an endless drive belt (20).

Conveyor belt fastener and method of manufacture
In one aspect, a conveyor belt fastener is provided having a rigid body made from a strip of cold-rolled or cold-drawn material such as steel. The body has an upper plate portion, a lower plate portion, and loop portions connecting the upper and lower plate portions. The upper and lower plate portions each have a variable cross-sectional thickness laterally thereacross including raised walls projecting outwardly and ribs projecting inwardly. The fastener has at least one attachment member, such as a staple, for connecting the plate portions to a conveyor belt end and the raised walls protect the staple once driven into the conveyor belt end.

Ball retainer
A ball retainer is provided. The ball retainer includes a chain belt, a hook portion, and a recess portion. The chain belt has a first end and a second end. The hook portion is disposed at the first end. The recess portion is disposed at the second end. An outer circumferential side and an inner circumferential side are formed after the hook portion of the ball retainer is snapped into the recess portion. During operation of the ball retainer after the hook portion is snapped into the recess portion, an acting force is applied to the chain belt so that the hook portion is disengaged from the recess portion. During operation of the ball retainer after the acting force disappears, the first end and the second end of the chain belt approach each other so that the hook portion is accordingly snapped into the recess portion.
QUICK-LINKED BELT
A quick-linked belt, which is assembled with a belt sprocket of a belt-driven vehicle, includes a belt element, at least two reinforcing elements, at least two fixing elements and at least two connecting elements. The belt element includes a plurality of belt teeth and two binding portions. The binding portions are disposed on two ends of the belt element, respectively, and each of the binding portions includes at least one opening hole. Each of the at least two reinforcing elements is disposed in the at least one opening hole of each of the binding portions and includes a through hole. Each of the at least two fixing elements is disposed in the through hole of each of the at least two reinforcing elements. Each of the at least two connecting elements includes at least two passing holes for passing through the at least two fixing elements.

Method for attaching a connector element to a belt end of a conveyor belt
A method for attaching a connector element to a belt end of a conveyor belt, wherein the connector element has a base tier provided with central passages and an adhesive tier disposed on one side of the base tier that produces adhesive under the effect of heat, including (i) disposing the connector element on the belt end of the conveyor belt positioned in a U-shaped deflection that is disposed on averted sides of the belt and on one end side of the belt with the passages positioned in the region of the U-shaped deflection and the adhesive tier disposed so as to face the averted sides of the belt; and (ii) connecting the connector element to the averted sides of the belt, wherein the connector element is adhesively bonded to the belt under the effect of a heated pressing installation on both sides of the belt.
