A transport, driving or pressing belt, comprising at least one belt material having a lower and an upper face limited by two longitudinal edges and two transverse edges running obliquely with respect to the main extension direction of the belt, the belt material being closed and the longitudinal edges being folded down, and a method for manufacturing a transport, driving or pressing belt. To ensure high tensile strength over the complete belt length and avoid an edge tearing of the first belt material at the longitudinal edges, the transverse edges of a first belt material lie against each other in abutting relationship, and a second belt material is arranged centrically on the first belt material at least in the region of the transverse edges. The second belt material here nearly covers a width of 50% of the first belt material and is centrically glued with the first belt material.

A conveyor belt obtained by bonding together conveyor belts to be adhered using an adhesive rubber is provided. The conveyor belts to be adhered include a rubber composition containing an ethylene--olefin copolymer, an organic peroxide (X1), and carbon black (Y1), the organic peroxide (X1) being contained in an amount of from 0.011 to 0.020 molar equivalents relative to the ethylene--olefin copolymer in the conveyor belts to be adhered. The adhesive rubber includes a rubber composition containing an ethylene--olefin copolymer, an organic peroxide (X2), and carbon black (Y2), the organic peroxide (X2) being contained in an amount of from 0.017 to 0.022 molar equivalents relative to the ethylene--olefin copolymer in the adhesive rubber. A content ratio (X2/X1) of the organic peroxide (X2) to the organic peroxide (X1) is from 1.20 to 2.00.

The present invention relates to a rod belt for rod belt conveyors of agricultural machines comprising rods (5) arranged transverse to the direction of transport and parallel to each other, the rods (5) comprising flattened and perforated attachment areas (5.1) by means of which they lie in contact with elastic belts (2) of high tensile strength revolving parallel to each other and being connected to the belts (2) via rivets or similar attachment means penetrating the attachment area (5.1) and the belt (2), both ends (9) of which belt constituting a joint (8). It is the object of the invention to provide a rod belt of this type having an endless connection of high stability while, at the same time, being easy to disassemble and mount. This task is solved according to the invention in that an auxiliary belt section (7) each is arranged laterally adjacent to the belts (2), the auxiliary belt section bridges the joint (8) between the belt ends (9) whereby the belts (2) and the auxiliary belt sections (7) are interlocked by means of the rods (5).
