MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE OF ELEMENT
An element manufacturing method for a transmission belt of a continuously variable transmission having a thick wall portion and a thin wall portion formed by sequentially feeding a material having a strip shape with a uniform thickness to each press position and performing press working on the material at the press position. The method includes, as the press working performed at the press position: a preliminary punching step in which a portion other than a connecting portion is cut off from surrounding material and the cut off portion is punched so as not to overlap with the surrounding material in a plate thickness direction; a crushing step of compressing and crushing a region of the thin walled cut off portion, after the preliminary punching step; and a punching step of punching the cutting off portion into an outer shape corresponding to the element, after the crushing step.
Continuously variable transmission and transmission belt
A continuously variable transmission includes a transmission belt including a plurality of elements each including a pair of pillar portions and a ring arranged between the pair of pillar portions of each of the plurality of elements, and a lubricant supply portion arranged on an inner side of the transmission belt in a radial direction. Each of the plurality of elements further includes a pair of rocking edge portions formed away from each other in a width direction, and a non-contact portion extending between the pair of rocking edge portions in the width direction along a saddle surface. A clearance that communicates the non-contact portion and a region on an inner side in the radial direction with respect to the transmission belt is formed between the elements included in a looped portion of the transmission belt around a first or second pulley.

Chain belt and method of manufacturing the same
In a chain belt having: plurality of link plates each provided with a pin hole; plurality of connecting pins to connect a part of the plurality of link plates in an endless annular form by being inserted into the pin holes across the part of the plurality of link plates in a state where the part of the plurality of link plates are overlapped; and a retainer pin welded to an end portion of the connecting pin and engaged with the link plate to prevent the link plate from coming off the connecting pin, the retainer pin is disposed in a posture in which an outer circumferential surface is in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the connecting pin, and a plurality of points on the outer circumferential surface of the retainer pin separated from each other in the circumferential direction are welded to the connecting pin.

Transmission belt
A transmission belt includes: a plurality of elements, each having a plate shape, arranged sequentially in a ring manner; and a single-line ring having a belt shape and binding the elements together in a ring. Further, each of the elements includes pillar portions so that the single-line ring is inserted and a locking edge, provided on one surface in a plate thickness direction of the element, indicating a boundary region from which a plate thickness of the element changes, the pillar portions have respective ends, the ends having portions in a curved shape each having a predetermined curvature radius along a plane parallel to the single-line ring, and the portions in the curved shape include a first portion being formed on a front side at one end of the inner space, and a second portion being formed on a rear side at another end of the inner space.

DRIVE BELT
Die invention relates to a drive belt, in particular V-belt, V-ribbed belt or toothed belt on an elastomer or polyurethane base, with belt backing and at least one tension member, comprising an optically detectable load and wear state display. According to the invention, a recess if formed over at least one belt section, and accommodated a flat support, wherein the support is furnished, in particular coated or impregnated with irreversibly thermochromic pigments, in such manner that a collour change or discolouration takes place at a predeterminable temperature load threshold.

Belt element for vehicular transmission belt
A belt element for a vehicular transmission belt is designed to be supported by the bands such that the head portion is located on an outer side of the bands. The base, head and connecting portions define two slots for engagement with the respective annular bands, and the base portion has an edge extending in its width direction. The edge includes a first edge located inwardly of widthwise ends of the head portion and functioning as a fulcrum of the belt element upon rocking of the belt element, and second edges located outwardly of the widthwise ends. The base portion has a smaller thickness on an inner side of the edge than on an outer side of the edge, and the second edges are located nearer to the head portion than the first edge.
