Nonreturn valve for a compact ventilation system as well as compact ventilation system
A nonreturn valve (10) for a compact ventilation system (100), includes a recoil membrane (20) and a holding element (40) for holding the recoil membrane (20) and for fastening the nonreturn valve (10) at a flow duct (110) of the compact ventilation system (100). The recoil membrane (20) has at least one mechanical stabilizing section (22) for cooperating with at least one mechanical counter-stabilizing section (42) of the holding element (40) or of the flow duct (110) of the compact ventilation system (100). At least one opening section (24) is provided for the defined movement of the recoil membrane (20) during the opening of the nonreturn valve (10) and a holding section (26) is provided for holding the recoil membrane (20) at a counter-holding section (46) of the holding element (40). A compact ventilation system (100) is provided with such a nonreturn valve (10).
FACE MASK
A face mask is provided. The mask comprises a body defining an interior side and an exterior side of the face mask; a one-way inlet valve that only allows gas to pass from the exterior side of the body to the interior side; and a one-way outlet valve that only allows gas to pass from the interior side of the body to the exterior side. By providing a face mask configured in this manner, the mask is able to provide fresh air to the wearer while reducing the likelihood of contamination by pathogens or other toxic matter.

Face Masks and Methods of Producing Same
A face mask includes a filter body including a composite film. The composite film includes a first layer of a stretched sintered polymeric material, and a second layer of an expanded polymer film secured to the first layer. The face mask includes one or more straps for securing the filter body over the mouth and nose of a wearer. A process for making a face mask includes providing a composite film including a sintered polymeric material adjacent an expanded polymer film, thermoforming the composite film to produce a filter body of the face mask, and attaching one or more straps to the filter body.
