Helical jumper connector

A helical jumper connector includes a helical support member configured to support a wire. The helical support member includes a first leg having a first helical winding and a second leg having a second helical winding that defines a second axial opening. The first axial opening and the second axial opening are coaxial with the wire when the first helical winding and the second helical winding are wrapped around the wire and cooperatively engage with one another to support the wire. A jumper casting is configured to receive the helical support member. The helical support member and the jumper casting are electrically conductive such that the helical jumper connector forms an electrically conductive pathway to carry electrical current from the wire. A method of making a helical jumper connector assembly includes applying a compression force to a helical jumper connector comprising a helical support member received in a jumper casting.

A bidirectional, wedge clamp is disclosed. Conventional clamps, such as those used with electrical cables mainly secure a line in a single direction. The invention herein being comprised of a bidirectional clamp for conventional cables, wires and rope etc. (herein referred to as a ‘line’) having a simple and easily-operable construction, wherein two plate-like members and an outer sleeve-like member are telescopically assembled to clamp a line there between. Plates and sleeve members having a plurality of interconnected, opposing number of wedges that when acted upon in a lateral motion by a line there between, causing said wedges to slide against one another—thereby tightening down the plates onto said line and preventing slippage. An object of the invention is to clamp a line and prevent slipping laterally in either direction along the line's longitudinal axis.

A button is provided, for use in a soft shackle in a rope. The button is made of a material equal to or exceeding the strength of the rope. The button has a notch and an oval. The notch and oval form a bar. The bar is dimensioned in size to not deform when the button is under a load equal to the strength of the rope.

Hand strap and hand controller assembly

A hand strap and a hand controller assembly are provided. Two ends of the hand strap are respectively used for connecting a hand controller. The hand strap includes an elastic strap, a belt body, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism includes a fixed assembly and a sliding assembly. When a relative position of the fixed assembly and the sliding assembly is in a locked state, the fixed assembly and the sliding assembly clamp and fix the elastic strap. When the relative position of the fixed assembly and the sliding assembly is in an unlocked state, the fixed assembly and the sliding assembly release the elastic strap. When the elastic strap is not subjected to an external force, an elastic force of the elastic strap drives the relative position of the fixed assembly and the sliding assembly to be maintained in the locked state.
