Clamping device for a wire element
09797421 · 2017-10-24 · ·

A clamping device has a body, at least one clamping member and an operating cover. The clamping member blocks at least one of the wire elements. The body has a cavity for passage a wire element and to house a clamping member, so that the clamping member is movable in the cavity along a first axis to a blocking position of the wire element. The operating cover is movable along the first axis relative to the body, and allows movement of the clamping member relative to the body along the first axis. The clamping device also has a drive device of the clamping member. The drive device enables free movement of the clamping member along the first axis with respect to the operating cover and with respect to the body, and enables movement of the clamping member away from the blocking position by actuation of the operating cover.

Fender hook

A fender hook is disclosed that is formed by a base material carrying a gripping material disposed between sections of hook and loop material. By wrapping the base material over upon itself, the gripping material is brought into frictional engagement with a mounting substrate such as a nautical railing and is held in place by the hook and loop material.

Adapter security keychain

A adapter security system adapted to be attached to a cable is taught. The adapter security system includes a wire, at least one adapter that is carried by the wire, and a clamping assembly that is adapted to attach the wire to the cable. The adapter security system provides a means of securing adapters at the location of a presentation while also providing convenient access for the user to the adapters.

Attachment system

An attachment system is provided which may include a cord, a fastener coupled to a first portion of the cord, a tensioner coupled to a second portion of the cord, and a first fitting arranged to couple either the fastener or the tensioner to the cord. The tensioner is configured to retain a third portion of the cord to maintain the tension in the cord. An attachment system may include a first working component configured to be coupled to the cord, and a first fitting arranged to couple the first working component to the cord. The first working component may have a cavity configured to receive at least a portion of the first fitting, and the first fitting may have an actively moveable element configured to retain the cord when the first fitting is positioned in the working component cavity.

Fastening unit for fastening a clamping element to a unit

Various embodiments include a fastening unit for fastening a tendon to a system. The fastening unit comprises: a head with a first opening; a shaft with a second opening and an external thread; and a channel extending from the first opening along the head to the second opening at least partly along the shaft. The external thread and the channel in each case accommodate the tendon.

Detachable connecting arrangement for fitting launchable external loads to an aircraft

A detachable connecting arrangement for fitting launchable external loads to an aircraft, having a hook-like connecting element fitted to the external load and a holding element fitted to the aircraft for the hook-like connecting element. The hook-like connecting element includes a lower supporting surface and an upper supporting surface. The holding element has a first opposing supporting surface that interacts with the lower supporting surface, and a second, upper opposing supporting surface that interacts with the upper supporting surface. The lower supporting surface and the first opposing supporting surface are designed to support mass forces of the external load directed away from the aircraft, and the upper supporting surface and the upper opposing supporting surface are designed to support mass forces of the external load directed towards the aircraft.

CLEAT
20170217546 · 2017-08-03 ·

A cleat includes two cams (36) comprising mutually opposed convex surfaces rotatable about parallel axes which extend vertically in a rope-trapping position of the cleat, to bring the arcuate surfaces together and apart. The cams (36) are urged towards each other to trap a rope (66) therebetween. Each cam is also mounted to a horizontal cylinder (2) for rotation about an axis of the cylinder, in order to allow the rope (66) to rotate the arcuate surfaces by pulling in a line above this horizontal axis and to free the rope.
