Air filtration material, device for decontaminating air by filtration and manufacturing method.
The invention relates to a filtering material permeable to air and impermeable to oral, nasal and/or ocular human liquid aqueous excretions, comprising at least one bundle, referred to as a hydrophobic bundle, of at least two hydrophobic sheets which are superimposed and each formed by porous paper, having a gsm substance less than 30 g/m.sup.2, each hydrophobic sheet being formed by cellulose fibres, referred to as cross-linked cellulose fibres, which are connected to each other by hydrogen bonds and by covalent bonds which are formed with at least one group of cross-linking atoms, characterised in that at least some of the hydroxyls of the cross-linked cellulose fibres which are not engaged in hydrogen bonds and which are accessible to the gases form a covalent bond with an acyl group with a hydrophobic chain.
Sensor Device for a Mouth-Nose Protection and Mouth-Nose Protection Device
In an embodiment a sensor device for arrangement on a mouth-nose protection includes a sensor unit having at least one sensor element configured to detect individual breathing processes of a user when the mouth-nose protection with the sensor device is used by a user and an evaluation unit configured to count the breathing processes of the user depending on a detection signal provided by the sensor unit and provide an evaluation signal for a signaling unit depending on a determined number of breathing processes.
MASK
A mask is provided. The mask according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first fabric forming an externally exposed surface; a second fabric disposed on one surface of the first fabric to be in close contact with a part of the wearer's face and including a first fiber including a silver wire; and ear bands provided on the opposite ends of the first fabric. Accordingly, the mask including the silver wire can fundamentally prevent the, generation of bacteria by a user's saliva and re-inhalation of proliferated bacteria and has excellent antibacterial performance. In addition, the mask provided with a ply yarn including a silver wire and a general-purpose fiber has excellent washing durability and elasticity and can have the effect of maintaining antibacterial performance and washing durability even when the silver wire included in the mask is broken.
PROTECTIVE FACE MASK
The present disclosure relates to an improved protective face mask for consumer and professional use. The inclusion of multiple layers, including a sealing layer, provides for an enhanced seal, improved comfort, and a reduction in the fogging or obscuring of eyewear worn in conjunction with the mask.
FACE MASK DEVICE
A face mask device utilizing a sheet of fluid penetration resistant material that includes first and second edge portions that are foldable against one another. Such folding creates a compact face mask that only covers the nose of the user and is employable during medical visits and also facilitates eating in public settings.
FACIAL PROTECTION ELEMENT FOR PROTECTION AGAINST RISKS OF EXPOSURE TO INFECTIOUS BIOLOGICAL AGENTS
The present invention describes a facial protection element for protection against risks of exposure to infectious biological agents, such as microorganisms, like a virus with an envelope, including SARS-CoV-2 and the multidrug-resistant Gram-positive bacteria. Specifically, the present invention relates to a facial protection element of the type comprising: face shields, glasses, masks, counter shields, etc., which prevent not only direct exposure to the infectious biological agent, but rather also inactivate same once the biological agent comes into contact with the facial protection element. The facial protection element comprises a plastic material or glass with a biocidal agent coating layer.
COMPOSITIONS FOR REDUCING INHALATION OF TOXIC AIR POLLUTION COMPONENTS
The present invention relates to a composition, textile, and mask for reducing the inhalation of pollutants. The composition includes an aqueous solution of an inorganic iodide compound, a metal phthalocyanine, and a polymeric binder. The inorganic iodide can be cuprous iodide, the metal phthalocyanine can be iron phthalocyanine, and the polymeric binder can be polyvinylpyrrolidone or polyvinyl alcohol. This pollutant-inactivating composition neutralizes pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, ozone, volatile organic compounds and other unpleasant airborne agents, without requiring elevated temperatures or bulky canisters containing adsorbents. Optionally, a humectant can also be incorporated into the coating solution to retain moisture in the active filter matrix, which enhances the activity of the composition to inactivate oxidizing gases and other toxic constituents of air pollution.
Smile-Through™ transparent smart mask
This invention is a smart face mask for air filtration with a transparent mouth-covering portion, an active air filtration system which filters both air inflow and air outflow, an environmental or biometric sensor, and a smart control mechanism wherein the operation of the active air filtration system is automatically adjusted based on analysis of data from the sensor.
PROTECTIVE MASK, AIR FILTRATION ELEMENT AND AIR TREATMENT ELEMENT
A layer for a protective mask (100a, 100b, 200a) comprises at least a first sublayer (122b, 218b), wherein the first sublayer (122b, 218b) includes a first substrate and a layer of a plurality of nanoparticles (124b, 7) of a nanomaterial provided on the first substrate. The protective mask (100a, 100b, 200a) includes an outer layer (120b, 230a) which is made of an organic fibular network bonded with nanomaterials. An air filtration element (900, 1070, 1240) for attenuation of airborne contaminants includes negatively charged nanodiamonds (920, 1320). A filter (1100, 1200, 1500, 1600) for an air conditioning system (1130, 1530) or an air purifier (1230, 1630) comprises the air filtration element (900, 1070, 1240). An air treatment element (1140,1300,1540,1640) comprises nanodiamonds (920,1320) including colour centers. The protective mask (100a, 100b, 200a), the air filtration element (900, 1070, 1240), the air treatment element (1140,1300,1540,1640) and the filter (1100, 1200, 1500, 1600) overcome or at least partially ameliorate some of the deficiencies as associated with those of the prior art.
