FUNCTIONAL MASK
A present invention relates to a functional mask that prevents health problems such as skin problems and bacterial growth caused by internal moisture due to a wearer's exhaled breath by providing an improved structure having an air passage filter. The present invention discloses a functional mask comprising: a first outer layer covering the mouth and nose of the face of a wearer; a second outer layer connected to an ear string, and a filtering inner layer integrally connecting the first outer layer and the second outer layer, wherein an air passage part is formed by a folded structure of the filtering inner layer, thereby allowing an exhaled breath of the wearer to be discharged through the air passage part from the functional mask.
Mouth protection device for a respiratory protection system
A mouth protection device for a respiratory protection system, in particular a blower respiratory protection system, includes at least one mask base body which is configured to cover a mouth and/or nose region of a user and which delimits a breathing zone at least partially, and includes at least one breathing air supply line, which is connected to the mask base body and delimits at least one breathing air channel that ends in the breathing zone and is configured for guiding an active breathing air flow, wherein the mask base body is made at least largely of a flexurally soft material, the mask base body being made at least largely of a textile material.
Mask storage apparatus
A mask storage apparatus includes a body including an accommodation space in which a mask device is stored. A cover is rotatably connected to the body and is capable of opening and closing the accommodation space. A compartment extends from an inner surface of the body and partitions the accommodation space into a first accommodation space in which a part of the mask device is accommodated, and a second accommodation space in which a remaining part of the mask device is accommodated. The compartment includes a sterilization module to sterilize the mask device.
Face Masks and Methods of Producing Same
A face mask includes a filter body including a composite film. The composite film includes a first layer of a stretched sintered polymeric material, and a second layer of an expanded polymer film secured to the first layer. The face mask includes one or more straps for securing the filter body over the mouth and nose of a wearer. A process for making a face mask includes providing a composite film including a sintered polymeric material adjacent an expanded polymer film, thermoforming the composite film to produce a filter body of the face mask, and attaching one or more straps to the filter body.
ELECTRICALLY HEATED RESPIRATOR
The present disclosure provides designs for an electrically heated respirator/face mask to kill or deactivate airborne viruses and bacteria by creating a seamless thermal and/or humidity chamber/barrier around the wearer's nose and mouth area; in addition to efficiently filtering the tiny particles according to NIOSH N95 standards, it reduces the chance of contracting the disease. The designs include various combinations: a disposable or reusable N95 respirator with or without an exhalation valve, disposable or reusable medical face mask, both with or without integrated and replaceable filter layers, and a reusable respirator with filter cartridges. Each design is comprised of multiple layers with an active thermal filter with a heating element, which is made of graphene. The respirator is connected via a USB cable to a power unit. A control module is used to turn the device on and off and control the inner temperature and humidity optionally through sensors.
FACE MASK APPARATUS WITH SECONDARY FILTER
A face mask apparatus for filtering air, the face mask apparatus including a primary face mask having a face seal for providing an airtight flexible seal around the nose and mouth of the user; a support sealably attached to the face seal, wherein the support has an open area that allows for passage of incoming air; a front shell for removably attaching to the support, wherein the front shell has at least one inlet hole for allowing the incoming air to pass through the open area of the support; a filter for filtering particulate elements from air, wherein the filter is configured to be housed between the front shell and the support, and the face seal provides a direct connection between the filter and the user; and a receiver projecting from an exterior surface of the front shell for receiving a secondary mask.
NOVEL FILTER MATERIAL, FACE MASK COMPRISING THE SAME AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
The present invention provides a filter material comprising an antistatic substrate having a predefined antistatic capacity, and one or more layers of nanofibers applied on the substrate. The one or more layers of nanofibers may be fabricated to have gradient structure in various parameters including thickness of nanofiber layer, nanofiber pore size, nanofiber diameter, nanofiber content and the like to suit different filtration applications. The present invention also provides a face mask comprising the filter material and a method for making the filter material.
Liner and retaining member for use with respiratory mask
A respiratory mask includes a mask body having a face-engaging portion, and at least one retaining member connected to the mask body and including at least one engaging member for receiving and tethering a liner to the respiratory mask to generally overlie the face-engaging portion. The retaining member may include a flexible elongated body having a central portion and opposing ends, and a bottom surface arranged to be attached to the respiratory mask. The liner may include a liner body constructed from an absorbent material and having an outer edge, an inner edge, and an opening bounded by the inner edge, wherein an extending portion of the liner body is defined which extends outwardly beyond the face-engaging portion and includes at least one aperture for engaging the retaining member. A kit for use with a respiratory mask includes at least one liner and at least one retaining member.
ARTICLE FOR INFECTION PREVENTION FOR FOMITE MATERIALS
An embodiment is an article configured to inhibit or prevent pathogen growth. The article includes an inner layer configured to face a wearer's skin when the face covering article is applied to the face of the wearer; a middle layer adjacent to the inner layer; and an outer protection layer adjacent to the middle layer and opposite the inner layer and comprising a substrate and metal particles in the substrate, wherein the metal particles are configured to inhibit or prevent pathogen growth.
